Actually, from their own official forums, open beta is slated for April 08, release in Europe in May 08, and release in other parts of the world to follow in Q2 and Q3 of 2008.   US players will probably be playing AoC and WAR before this game. 

 

They really need to update the Q1 release info on MMORPG.com

Sorry to say daylight01, you are wrong.  Those dates are from 2007, not 2008.  Development has been delayed, just like all the other major mmo's.

TCOS has not announced a release date other than Q1 2008, and that is Europe, not US.

I know those dates are from 2007 and not 2008,That is why I said it was a failed post .

The release date here in europe has been q1 2008 for sometime now with most of us still hoping for a late march release but this hasnt been confirmed yet.

Wow, they sure keep pushing the release date further!

I mean, I'm glad some Dutch MMORPG comes that is actually good, but c'mon.

On the other hand, now they have more time to improve  it!

I hope it comes to the U.S by at least end of this year. This gem of a MMO is only MMO I'm looking forward too. Finally, a non-gear based MMO that doesn't have forced raiding and no boring auto-attack combat. This is the MMO I've been waiting for since I left Asheron's Call back in 2001.

 

Hopefully they find a north american developer that will publish Spellborn here.

 

and the release date last I checked hasn't changed for Europe, but no release date for the U.S.

I've been SO looking forward to this game, bummed to hear it may not be coming to USA for a while.  It looks like it's a great game.  Just going to keep my fingers crossed...

No pre ordering things because the game is still under NDA and has no release date.

I think that trying to sell something without any sure information about is disrespectful.

If this game is going to be released 1st quarter this year then open beta has to be march otherwise where looking at a 2nd quarter release.

Since they failed to announce an open beta and a release date, it is safe to assume we will not see a Q1 release.
