Maelseeker is a title given to those who travel the Deadspell,
they often never rest on the Shardrealms for more then a few days straight and love to go out and adventure. Quote from the wikiborn No restrictions Can it be truth? Oh yes, it sure is. The Maelseekers are simply open to everyone, we do not wish to limit the guild to level x, class y or race z. All we want from you is that you're an active guild member, that wants to have fun. Recruitment During open beta we will most likely not have any special recruitment procedure, but when release kicks in you'll have to fill out an application form on The Maelseekers forum. A senior member from the open beta period will watch over you during a 7 day period, to make sure that you're Maelseekers material.  House alliance The Maelseekers intend to form their guild during the open beta. The plan is that we will be a free for all guild during open beta, and then have a poll about which house to align ourselves to for release. And we'll just have to hope that even if you decided to join another house, you might change your mind. If not, you'll always be a friend of the guild. The reason we want to go for one house only is because we want to avoid future conflicts within the guild when the house conflicts begin. *All of this may change as new information is released. PvP aspect of the game Hell yeah, ain't PvP beautiful. To see two citzens of the enclave swing their swords at each other, expressing their feelings through their weapons and fighting styles. The Maelseekers will greet PvP with enthusiasm, and since we are going to have a lot of level difference within our guild the plan is to have the older, more skilled, players help the new ones, teaching them what they can. So we can all enjoy the fun of PvP. World events and roleplaying We support roleplaying and are going to try to take an active part in the world events together with other guilds. Roleplaying has always been something I've enjoyed in it's small amounts, that's why I want the guild to be open to anyone, and not go hardcore rp. This is the game that I feel will make the most 'noise' this year, even though it's getting very little press. I went to the guild website and clicked 'How to join...", but I got a dead page. Hey there MarlonB, it's Lios here. Good show working on our publicity, it will also probably help the game too, since people will see that there are some awesome guilds that are going to play Spellborn and they'll check out the game. The Maelseekers are a great guild full of wonderful people and Spellborn looks to be a great game in the making, so if any of you out there haven't looked into it, do so now. It's not for everyone, though, but if you're anything like me, it will fill just the niche you're looking for. Anyway, join the Maelseekers, we need cannonfodder... I mean, loyal allies.... yes... that's exactly what I meant...

As for our new website, it is currently under construction. As open beta and release draw closer and closer, we are seeking to expand our numbers with mature, intelligent and talented members. If you think you have what it takes, or you just want to hang out with some of the greatest people in the Spellborn community, check us out! Also, the following have changed from the original post:
House Alliance: We will likely have no specific house affiliation, but this is not yet set in stone. PVP: While our focus is likely to be on exploration and PVE, we will still support PVP. We plan to take on the arena and raid mines, as well as participating in shard conquest.
