Have you been reading the AoC forum? I never thought things would look so bad for that game. I bet this has a lot to do about WAR release being posponed, they knew they were safe making this move.

It's looking very good for WAR, the more I look at it, the more I feel WAR will be a huge succes, I mean by the milions, maybe a few milions but that's a lot, maybe really hurting WOW if it is good enough. Sadly by good I mean appealing to the masses, this is the only fear I have.

AoC isn't dropping like anything, most people that enjoy the game... the majority, are off playing it instead of posting on forums... You better beleive WAR is going to have just as many if not more troll posts as AoC come an open beta.

WAR gets posts every day by AoC fanbois and haters   we are used to it....  i ignore them or counter their claims with facts....people will enjoy AoC...people will enjoy WAR...its what ever .... however i have a feeling WAR will have a better Open Beta then AoC is having right now

LOL, that is total BS! The consensus on AoC is that is a fun game; but the open beta has some bugs and you need a decent pc to run it.

Plus I have seen MANY beta leaks saying that at least right now, AoC is way better than Warhammer.

         Quit lying. Saying I have seen many beta leaks only says that you aren't in either beta and think that by saying "I have seen many beta leaks" makes your word credible and end all. How about some substance to your claims?

      I have seen many beta leaks and WAR looks  alot better than AoC. AoC looks like it plays like a console RPG. WAR looks fun, has depth, revolves around PvP, has more stlye and class, and will run on 90% of consumer's PC's and not 10% like AOC.

It should be hilarious when WAR comes out and the same exact thing happens with it also.  Honestly, I'm going to laugh my ass off when people finally realize that it's not "DAoC 2" and it's just uncreative garbage.  I'm not a fanboy at all.  I was excited about AoC and WAR equally.  Then.....ya.....sigh.....

But they did push it back, so who knows.  Maybe they'll change the whole game or actually make the PvP good.  Perhaps they'll change their extremely linear world.  Only time will tell. =/

Edit: If WAR released around this time (like it was going to) it would have probably been the biggest disappointment of the year.

Edit 2 : And it's funny you say that the beta leaked videos for WAR look good Impaler.  To me, and most others, it looked extremely bland, slow, and uncreative.  It also looked just like WoW.  (Yes, I know Warhammer came first, but it didn't as an MMO.  So WAR would be the clone here).

I'm just saying after reading the AoC forum in MMORPG, I think the general consensus there is... just desinstall the demo and look somwhere else. So bad. Even former enthusiasts are saying they are disappointed.

I can understand why some companies don't want open betas now, it's a double edged sword. But I do hope WAR has one, that will be a good sign, showing their confidence in their game.

    This will be the normal trend fro new MMO's. People are looking for a game to replace life and when "hyped" game turns out to be just like an MMO, our addicition and thirst for that 1st high remains.

I have to agree with the others here there are alot of people that like AoC...and personally there's nothing wrong with a game appealing to the masses...just means there's more people to kill on the battlefield.

No offense, but do you know how stupid your statement is?  No shit I'm not giving facts.  These are all opinions of what will happen and what I think of both games.  So if I took out "probably", "should", and "maybe", then my post would be a fact and would deserve credibility?  You're an idiot, sorry.  =)

Who needs 10mio players? Do they make wow a better game? No. Is Blizzard using there earnings for content? No, other MMOs are increasing their content way faster. Can you play with 10mio players at the same time? No. All you get are mainstream jerks. No thanks.

There can be an AoC and a Warhammer at the same time, believe me!
