I'm Considering playing Aion  at the moment, it looks more than worth while, it's weather my PC can handle it is the Issue, i'll be building a new PC sometime though.

I have alot of Experience in FFXI, aswell, Played on Pandemonium, 75 DRK SAM RNG and NIN

Ah nice nice. I was a 75 SAM (main), RNG, THF, NIN, BLU, and WAR on Fenrir ^^. FFXI was a great mmo for its time.

I know exactly what you mean about the PC issue. I just recently put together my new quad-core system for the ultimate Aion experience ^^. However, Aion itself has relatively low system requirements. So just about any PC with fairly up-to-date hardware will be able to run Aion without much issue.

If you want to get a good idea of if you can run Aion at your current state then I highly suggest going to www.canirunit.com and select Far Cry from the list. It will ask you to install a plugin, but no worries it is harmless.

Yeah, i think the biggest problem atm is RAM, i'll get a upgrade though, we still have awhile XD i have 8800 512MB GT nVidia GPU though.

Yeah you should be good to go when Aion hits. 1gig of ram should be enough but 2gigs+ is ideal.

I've been thinking of getting a new graphic card, how is that 8800 working out for you?

8 series in general are wicked, and decently priced.

Depending on what you get and what you can afford I guess. ATI has the best dual GPU cards out there atm though, but Nvidia has the best solo gpu cards out there. Nvidia's attempt at a dual-gpu card is a joke... they just pushed it out the door to get their name in the box.

I only have one GPU from Nvidia, i didn't plan on dual with Nvidia, but i need to get everything else before i even buy another GPU, Mobo, and what not.

I asked my Hubby what I have in my computer and he looked at me like I was stupid lol, Guess my stuff id perdy good, I have a AMD 64x2 Dual Core 4800+, 3 gb of ram. Not sure on video card heh I tend fry them, not sure how just bad luck i think ?

If you tend to fry them in the same machine and the power supply hasn't been swapped out in the life of the machine. I'd say you very well may have a PSU that needs to go by the way side. Might want to take it to the shop and have the voltages checked.
