WoW has Cartoonish Graphics - Me hates

AoC has kinda very Real graphics - Me hates

Aion is Fantasy/Anime type graphics, and honestly, that's what me, and alot more people are looking for :) !

Really, when i play a game, i wish the graphics are not real life copies, it makes the game look dull, and 2 much realistic, atleast i have some difficulty in being immerse in a non-fantasy type game.

 Its funny because they using the anime style art on thier characters but the characters also look so real but still you get people that complain.

Very nice screenshots, thanks for posting. Game is looking good from what I have seen so far, looks like NCsoft may just get me back as a subscriber.

I couldn't agree with you more. Yes, you can make your character look pretty anime-esque if you wanted, but from everything I've seen so far, you can make a character look as far from it as possible. Hell, I saw a screenshot of a guys character on a Korean website that he made look almost exactly like Hugh Jackman as Wolverine from the X-Men movies.

I couldn't agree with you more. Yes, you can make your character look pretty anime-esque if you wanted, but from everything I've seen so far, you can make a character look as far from it as possible. Yeah I also saw it, it was part of the "design your character" contest in the korean aion's website, it was awesome. Also there were some other "RL photo+character photo" and the similarities were incredible in all of those cases.

Wow nice !!! I hope the game play holds up to the beta feedback provided by the OP and the graphics in those pics!

If it's as fun as WoW was if not more so then this game has a good future. Hopefully pvp will be a whole lot meaningful then it was in WoW. I also hope the world is not overly instanced ala EQ2, Guild Wars, or AoC. I want to be able to roam freely with minimal to no loading screens.

Between Aion, War, and Spellborn I don't know if I am going to have a easy time choosing between these new MMO's. If they all hold true to their promises it's going to be hard making a single choice. I've been looking for a high fantasy game for a long time with the great visuals and animation found in Asian MMO's but without the horrid grind or lifeless world. Gogogogogo AION and break the stereotype plz.
