Every video I watched had horrible hitching. I hope this is only indicative of a Closed Beta client.

Otherwise that type of performance is not going to "fly"!!

Yeah the hitching could really kill the game. I hope its only because they are playing on the korean servers...

video compression mixed with people having bad computers in Korea, check the video I posted from zyuu in your last topic kitsune, and you'll notice how the game goes well without hitching (he has a 7900) excepting when he is riding the bird since he is loading areas in his screen at max settings.

Ok i need to know now..... What is CBT3???? Is it Aion: The Tower of Eternity? It looks and sounds completely different from the trailers i've seen on gametrailers.com, please tell me CBT3 is a different game or something. At first I was in love with Aion, but now i'm having a heartache.

I've tried googling CBT3 but i couldn't find anything other then more of these video's,

edit: Ok so i found out CBT means Closed Beta T-i forgot but anyways... this is Aion: the tower of eternity isn't it? this disappoints me a bit, but watching the trailers on the official site made me think i might try it out someday cause the action does look pretty cool for an MMORPG.

CBT3 is the third stage of closed beta in Korea (closed beta test 3).

And you can't judge from youtube videos other than the action if you're already into the concepts, HD vids are not treny in Korea, sadly for our eyes :<

Check out the video Mark (from Aionsource.com) just released to see a decent settings HQ video.

Looks to me like that hitching is frapsed based, not server based. If you've ever used Fraps u'd know that whenever frapsing, ur frame rate goes down A LOOOOOT. So when looking @ certain areas with fraps it'll hitch real bad and ur framerate goes down substantially.

Exactly, plus these settings appear to be on low as well.
