I have been playing for a little over a month and I am loving it. I have meet some really great people in the game, both through my guild and through regular game play. I have started to become a bit addicted, i must admit! Does anyone else have any more feedback about the game... I feel that all the threads about this game are by people who aren't really playing it. |

gotta agree on this. as I stated in the thread below, imo BBO is teh better VCO. The item mall and the lack of support by igg have made me switch to BBO. Also it seems that the add-on Storm Island (or Doom Treasure as IGG have called the add-on |

I've been playing since the open beta and enjoying it alot. So many skills to work with and with the new expansion so much more to do. VCO is a "free" game so be it for those that can afford it. I'd rather do the subscription thing and get the support BBO has, just incase. For now there is a good userbase and it is growing daily it seems. Athens had almost 10 new players when I stopped there last time.

I've been playing the middle of November 2007, so this is my third month. This is so addictive it has got me trouble in RL. There's so much scope in this game that it'll keep you glued to the keyboard for at least the next six months. The only wish I've got is that there will be more players coming in the near future. Haven't tried POTBS yet, but so far this is the best Pirate era game I've played. The community is a friendly one as well.

I play BBO on the german "Polarstern" -server for about one and a half months and I absolutely love it! Before BBO I played one of those "free" games. Well, the 9 euros I pay now are nothing compared to the money I spent by playing the other game with an item mall. In my guild, there are lotst of newbies, but almost none of theme left the game. I can't understand the people who criticize the game and saying its bad without having played it even once.
BBO or not? Some pros: - good grafic - good support - interesting quests and wars - historycal aspect - many possibilities - nice and helpful people
Some cons: - monthly fee of 9 euros (by paying for more than one month, it's cheaper) - the game is absolutely addictive...^^
Sorry for the language problems, I'm from switzerland, so plz have mercy... |
