Im dling the game now and im just wondering what the system specs are, my video card dies so i had to swap it out for a bad one(nvidea gforce fx5700 ultra something along those lines).

 

Just wondering if that will be okay to try this game out and, how is the current population of the game?  If i wanted to get into groups and a guild and what not later on as i level could that be easily done?

"City of" has had fairly consistent subscription numbers since launch (around 150k subs). That said, some servers are more heavily populated than others. I'd recommend Freedom or Virtue if it's a huge concern for you.

As for your video card, it should be adequate, but you'll probably have to turn down the settings a bit to maximize performance.

CoX has fluctuated between 150k and 250k over the years.   I believe it is currently closer to 250k.  Either way Freedum and Virtue are as full as any normal WoW server and servers like Infinity have a quite decent population.  Well I am not entirely sure what the realative acceptable loads are for a WoW versus a CoX server but the top two have plenty of people and that is all that really matters since the community is fairly active on the forums and other out of game resources like paragon wiki or Mid's Hero planner tool etc.

 

Mmmmm if you plan on playing villains you may want to ask on the particular server forum.  Vilain pop is lower and not always analogous to Hero population.  I am pretty sure Infinity has more villains than other servers with similar Hero populations.  And some servers have very low villain pop apparently.
