    • I must admit the interviewer is pretty bad

    • Rabbit and headlights come to mind watching this interview. Cryptic must be a bit annoyed that they had a great opportunity to get some good info out there and Elma Fudd interviews.

    • Poor guy's a nervous wreck, which made the interview a bit difficult to follow. Plus I didn't really pick up much anything new from the interview either. Oh well, better luck next time. Hopefully he'll be more prepared in future interviews.

    • Who thought it a good idea to send this guy out to conduct a video interview? It would have been better to scrap this than put it up on the site or at least change it from video to a text q&a. Please have him appologize to Randy!

    • Seems like a lack of preparation on the part of the news manager -- it seemed like he was coming up with questions on the fly rather than preparing them and didn't seem to know a whole lot about company or the genre.

    • LoboMau, he was talking about Marvel Universe, which was a false start.

    • I admit, the interview went a little bad. The guy interviewing pretty much said CoH was a bad game. I played it for many years (not constantly of course... I have a life... I think?) But I think CoV/CoH are awesome. No other games compare to them. Ever since I played them, I became spoiled and now all MMO's suck and are completely boring. If you read this and never tried out CoH/CoV and you love MMO's, you are SERIOUSLY MISSING OUT. That's all there is to it. There's nothing more enjoyable than being in an 8 man team and seeing the chaos and thinking "oh crap, someone aggroed too much" and somehow, you guys end up living after taking on tons of enemies. It's a rush no other game I have ever played could give me. I hope this next game they are working on turns out to be something even better! I wish you luck Cryptic! P.S. Make CoH/CoV free one day. Like Anarchy Online lol

    • My goodness, this is your "News Manager"? That guy has no idea how to conduct and interview. He is very distracting and painfull to watch, don't even know what the guy from Cryptic said I was watching the train wreck
  • TatsuOyama(posted Sun Aug 31 2008)
    • Want. Want bad. Everything they churn out over there at Cryptic usually deserves my dollar. I look SO forward to this. For me I will get trials of this and DCU and choose the one that my family loves, but for me I LOVE most of the stuff they do.

    • "duh...errr...hehe...ummm... what was the question? heh oh yeah..." Good thing Randy does most of the talking, its the only thing that saves this interview.

    • Really horrible interviewer. I mean really bad.
  • Honkie(posted Fri Aug 29 2008)
    • I had originally been interested in this game. Then I heard that they had good ol' Jack Emmert helping out, and that ended it. He has a very "what I want regardless of if players like it, want it, enjoy it, or can make sense of it" attitude. This goes far beyond balance issues that players find a bitter pill to swallow, and into the realms of him just flexing his developer muscle in retarded directions. It takes a very, very long time for a game to recover from his "work" developing. Perhaps I'll look into playing this in 2-3 years (assuming that he doesn't get back on board of this project at any time between now and then).
  • Lustmord(posted Fri Aug 29 2008)
    • Wow, you guys are kinda harsh. I think the guy did fine. I do think the interview could have used more new information, though. It was basically 12 minutes of talking about what I've already read.
  • Dameonk(posted Fri Aug 29 2008)
    • Wow, this was painful to watch. I know MMORPG doesn't have the most professional written interviews/reviews, but you would at least think that they could get someone to go to game conventions that could do video interviews and not sound like a total idiot. It's not only his mannerisms, but it also sounds like he did 0 research about the game before conducting the interview. "Uh, um.. uh... I hear "you guys" got your uh.. forums up recently... how's uh.. um... how's that going." Horrible on so many levels, I couldn't even watch the whole thing.
  • ydma1796(posted Fri Aug 29 2008)
    • How is this guy your news manager? Keep him behind a desk, his reporting style is very unprofessional. It's got to look as bad to the game companies as it does to your forum members.
  • fenrisblue(posted Fri Aug 29 2008)
    • the only reason i watched this was because it was champions,i hate watching chris cross interviews, he seems like he never wants to be there and doesnt really like the game, he looks like he is counting the wrods waiting for the person to stop talking, :( this game may be fantyastic, or crap on a platter, we will see
  • shohadaban(posted Fri Aug 29 2008)
    • As for the game. This one looks like it might be a refreshing change
  • shohadaban(posted Fri Aug 29 2008)
    • Yea take an extra moment before you speak. Don't be afraid of silence instead of the "annnd ummm". I am a cameraman for a local NBC show, so I help with this sort of thing all the time. Like I said don't be afraid of a second of silance instead of filling every moment with the "uummms"
  • Haradeas(posted Fri Aug 29 2008)
    • I agree he doesnt do his job very good... I heared more EHHHUUU then anything else ... till now the worst interviewer so far... relax dude take a deep breath and try again :)
  • LoboMau(posted Fri Aug 29 2008)
    • Who hired this "Chris"? What a loser!! He dont know how to do the right questions and he even say stupid things like the other game (COH) was a false start!!!
