Immediate Fun - 8

Long term fun - 4

Replayability - 2

Graphics - 7

Sound - 4

Character Development - 2

Help System - 3

UI - 5

Movement - 5

Item creation and upgrade system - 7 (Pretty enjoyable honestly for a while)

Overall Experience - 4, can play less than 10 hours before moving on

Recommend to buy - No

Expected niche market - steady 3-5k accounts, initial 10-20k accounts if less than $20

What is missing?

1 - Characters need more survivability, mostly casters

2 - mercs and characters need more abilities faster

3 - not enough variables to avoid cookie cutter builds

4 - Quest system is hard to follow and mobs are often hard to find.  We are used to being given everything now.  Players rarely want to actually adventure and find mobs.

I think there is a lot more long term stuff than you are giving the game credit for.  For instance, guilds can take over towns and manage them some how or another.

That said, finding the stuff in the game to do is hard, as the UI is horrible (like an old shareware game from the 90s) and the out of game documentation isn't the best, either.

Well, I've been trying to get into this game for the last couple days. But running out of stamina the first day just took the wind out my sails.

But beyond that, I'm still in the first area, and it's getting old. I like the combat, but there's not a lot of variety in the mobs.  Sprites (or whatever), then those hell warriors, then trees. (I know there are unicorns, but I missed them until I was over their level because I find the navigation confusing and only saw them after I killed the trees).

The crafting system is really tiresome. The premise is clever enough, but having to click open every single box you get to get an item, then watching it spin and spin, then finally give you one makes me want to pull out what's left of my hair.

I can't figure the chat out. I seem to see half of public conversations, one person talking, but no one else.  And when I've tried talking, I don't know if I'm on the right channel or not, because no one replies.

There are all these pop-ups and notices I don't need or can't do anything with. Like the free leagues (can't fight in them since I'm only 14th level).  I don't know why I need monster info, but I get that a lot. Sometimes the guild want ads pop up.

And there's just too much mouse clicking. I don't mind some, but this takes mouse clicking to another level, I think.

I cannot say that ive ever run out of stamina but i agree that it is tiresome fighting the smae monsters over and over.

the box system doesnt bother me all that much. but it would help if they let u do multiple boxes at once to speed up the proccess.

the chat though i figured out right away. within the first 1/2 hour i was having full conversations with other ppl. there are only 3 different chats so its really not that difficult.

the pop-ups do get annoying. i got a few pop-ups about other ppl. i dont need to know about othere ppl! Other then that i get some item pop-ups saying ive found an item or a monster info pop-up. they dont bother me all that much. i just exit em.

and u dont need to use the mouse. u can use the awsd keys or the auto-move to move(but i think u need the right mouse button to aim u.

Personnally i think its a ok game but thats just me.

You ran out of stamina when?

Lol

I was in the third boss when I first ran out of stamina, but it was 11 pm and stamina resets at 6 am everyday.

About the chat, the in-game help has all the commands needed.

Casters dont need more survivality, just place them in the back row with a meat shield in front of then and mobs won't be able to attack them until the char in front of them dies.

There's a lot of variables to make builds in this game, there's a lot of mercs you can take and the way you combo them will be your build.

To find mobs and stuff you can get an auto-walk license that, well, auto walks you to quest locations, there is a lot of other licenses, like auto-battle, check monster remaining health, check monster parties and level before entering combat and so on and so forth.

Add to it that there are a lot of features that encourage communal gameplay, I have never ever seen such a mature communitty EVER.

At low levels there's a lot of people who wont chat, and that won't party because they feel uber with their 5 chars, usually they learn the lesson a little while after.

Ravenshroud you should play more than 15 mins because all your points are wrong.

1 - Characters need more survivability, mostly casters

You can move them to 2 or 3 line you know ?

2- mercs and characters need more abilities faster

you dont need 100 abilities and use only 2 later you have 8 merc and ~ 16 skills minimum.

3- not enough variables to avoid cookie cutter builds

Yes of course there are only 8 spots for mercenary and hundred combinations of them.

4 - Quest system is hard to follow and mobs are often hard to find. We are used to being given everything now. Players rarely want to actually adventure and find mobs.

AUTOMOVE

Automove is nice, but once the game starts, that will be a cash shop item, I think. And yet the navigation system is so poor (the mini map is small and blurry) that it's almost vital to play, I think.

And I don't see how people don't run out of stamina after a few hours.  You can easily fight 30 battles an hour. Maybe once you can do stuff to get more stamina, but that seems to all be higher level than me (20th and up)

just for the latest update since this game is closed beta i have learnt many cool stuff about it and some point people should know before playing this game

1- this is a turn-bases game, like Final fantasy ( if you dont like that kind of games dont even bother Downloading it )

2- the market feature gives you the ability to sell your items in any town and leave them there, like that you can do your own stuff without open a stall or offering to sell something

3- the quests are ok ( what should i say? )

4- about the auto-move license it wont be buyable from item malls as i know

5- there are crafting skills for everything item in this game even the licenses you can make your licenses and sell them to other players

6- the GMs are quite online and still they need couple of mins to contact you

what else i dont know but i like this game even its closed beta i expect many things would change to better when its open beta

Just responding to a few points.  It is rare that I find a game that I feel a need to talk about.

4 - Quest system is hard to follow and mobs are often hard to find. We are used to being given everything now. Players rarely want to actually adventure and find mobs.

What?  Seriously, how long did you play?  One of the first quests explains the auto-move feature.  Another explains the journal that can bring you to almost any mob you've previously fought.  And within a couple hours of play, you have a quest to join a guild.  Nearly every active guild in the game is extremely helpful with providing directions and information.

I like the combat, but there's not a lot of variety in the mobs.

And what MMO has a lot of variety?  Every MMO uses the same mob graphics over and over with slight variations.  It is really to be expected, though there gets to be a little variety the further you progress.

I can't figure the chat out. I seem to see half of public conversations, one person talking, but no one else. And when I've tried talking, I don't know if I'm on the right channel or not, because no one replies.

Yeah, sadly there does seem to be some sort of problem with the peer chat channels :/  All other forms of chat work fine, though.

There are all these pop-ups and notices I don't need or can't do anything with. Like the free leagues (can't fight in them since I'm only 14th level). I don't know why I need monster info, but I get that a lot.

Most pop-ups do serve a purpose.  The free league and bonus xp time pop ups are notifications that do affect quite a number of players, but they might need to be turned down just a bit.  Monster info is very important.  The more info you have on a mob, the better drops, damage, and defence from you receive from it ;)

Oh, my God; I care so little, I almost passed out.

First bit of monster info gives you a 5-10% bonus to dmg/def to that mob. 2nd lets you look up the location info in the game guide. 3rd increaces the amount of loot you get and lists what you can get and at what rates in the game guide as well.

Well.. many players do not like this game because they have no idea how to play STRATEGIC game. I learned some strategies from Free League and YouTube. This is a game for thinking how to combat~~ not about SPAMMING skills or HIT-n-RUN or LAGGERS pwn u all  like the other boring games.

The Ops scoring is probably about right IF your soloing.

I started this with a friend who didnt want to play a full price mmo, and now I cant stop thinking about it.

But I should imagine that if you dont have a friend to play with it could get boring quite quickly.
