Ever since Runescape's wilderness got nerfed, I've been searching for a game like this.

Player-looting.....

Runescape-style levelling system.....One character that can be a ranger, mage, warrior, etc and can change his class mid-game, am I correct about this?

Open PvP everywhere...

And from what I understand, graphics and a combat system that are far superior to Runescape's.

It seems perfect in every way.

Can this really be for real?

Unless I've been following a fake game for almost seven years then yes it's real.

Well it's not really real. You can't buy it yet but it's about to become real. Then you'll actually have to play it to sort out the expectations from the reality. It's worth applying for the beta anyway.

All it has to do is have player-looting and open PvP and I'm happy. Thx guys, this game looks incredible.

I know runescape graphics are hard to beat, but i believe DF's is a tiny bit better.

Yes, you can loot everything after you have killed someone.

Yes, one character can have all the skills/spells in game with no hardcap. There is only a softcap for skills/spells, when you have crossed that line your levels start slowly decay if you don't use them.

Yep, you can kill that Chinese gold farmer and take all his gold.

The graphics are good, except there has been some rants about spell graphics being 10-years old. The combat system is real-time FPS.  Do you hit or miss, it's up to you.

Yes, it is for real . You could try out Shadow Bane, it too has open PvP almost everywhere, loot and city building.

yeah reminds me of the day i first saw muffins' "Darkfall is coming" video having just started sketching out my perfect game on paper (i'm a professional programmer). It was a moment of pure joy.

Yes but its better than that, it doesnt have a leveling system in that way. More like skill-system since darkfall doesnt have levels to grind. It is skills u get better at, take a sword, use it and u get better at swordmanship. Also Darkfall doesn´t have classes. Pickup some spells and use a staff then ure a mage right ? Altough there are talk that DF will have prestige classes that u can choose from, this will enable use of some prestige class spells/skills and disable some others.

And yes darkfall Is a dream, but it´s coming true ;D

you cant get them all you can be no way you can GM them tho with decay getting worse if you have too many

yep but prestige classes was put onto the back burner until after release
