The Lord of the Rings Online: Book 14: The Ringforges of Eregion
GameSpy previews Book 14: The Ring Forges of Eregion for Lord of the Rings Online.

Turbine has updated the Lord of the Rings Online Lorebook entry on the Ranger, Amdir. Players who have fought their way through the Hobbit and Human starting areas will be familiar with the helpful hero as he plays a major role in their early storylines.
When the Nazgûl entered the Shire in search of Frodo Baggins, the Rangers of the North discovered a strange link between their presence and the increase of brigand activity in Bree-land. One Ranger, Amdir by name, travelled from the Shire to Archet to investigate the connection between the Nazgûl and the Blackwolds.
Once in Archet, the grim Ranger became embroiled in a mystery involving missing hobbits, and contended in the meantime with the distrust of Captain Brackenbrook, a retired sell-sword organizing a garrison to stave off the attacks of the Blackwold brigands. Amdir’s involvement in the affairs of Archet would eventually lead him to a dark and sinister fate.
The Ranger Amdir was one of the earliest NPCs created by Turbine for The Lord of the Rings Online™: Shadows of Angmar™. He plays a pivotal role throughout the Hobbit and Man starting instances, continuing through the Bree-land Epic Prologue.
