I do not come here as often as I use to and not sure if this has been asked before. Can a company copyright a game style? I mean could one of the reasons no one even tries to make another game with the skill tree system like in pre-cu because they would have to pay SOE in order to use it. I do not even know of that could be thought of as a style.
Ok not sure that made sense and hope it has not been asked a million times. I under stand the level system is established and proven for the most part. I guess it makes gateing content easier just seems someone would have tried to improve on the skill tree system by now. |
