thinking about getting this game but first the nub questions !

can you solo any further past lv 10 if you wanted ?

can you get any jobs that will work good together i was looking at the jobs/extra jobs what would good startes be ?

how do you make money in this game besides the usual grind of killing ?

what server has a good size population so easy to get groups if i want to group ?

It would be a good idea to check the stickies at the top of the forums. They should be able to help with most of the questions you have. You can go repeatable quests to get gil as well as crafting. Server population is about the same across them all. Like on Kujata, I have friends that have went through leveling in lower areas without much of a problem. I just did that myself recently as well.

Yea you can solo past 10 with alot of different jobs. Id definatly recommend getting into partys though. especially at the lower 10-30 levels. This is a perfect time to meet new people and find a good linkshell.

Theres thousands of ways you can get gil. You just have to work for it. For the longest time i always had problems getting money. But I found my own little gold mine and now im raking in 400k+ a day :)

Yes and no. You can do this well with certain jobs and its nearly impossible with others. I would say unless your a job that is designed to solo don't waste your time.

It all depends on what you are planning to do. You can take any of the starting jobs to 75 and they all perform very well in endgame situations some are necessary. If you are looking to switch to an advanced job at lvl 30 and have that as your main. I would probable lvl my first job to 30 that might be a useful sub job for your main. IE if you are wanting to lvl ninja id recommend lvling warrior to 30 first or if you are planning to lvl summoner i would recommend lvling whm to 30 first.

I personally do not kill things for money. I like to garden its easy and a steady stream of gil. I also have a static for some "Burning Circle Notorious Monsters" which drop wonderful items and sell for a good amount of money. On top of that I fish which can be fun but lately ive been working on getting the pop item needed for Macurial Kris which sells for about 3mil on my server.

I know for a fact that Odin has the most amount of people but SE and myself would discourage you from joining this server due to over population. They are even providing nice incentives to players on the server to switch to other servers. A high population can be good for experience parties to make it easier to find a party, but this can cause overcamping of xp areas and more importantly Notorious Monster pops and Hyper Notorious Monster pops.
