Okay i didn't play fom in beta i played on it when it went to p2p. Its the only mmorpg i have ever played apart from runescape and i just looked at the screen shots on the homepage and the information about each facton and thought i must play this game. I signed up and logged on and went to my the homebase new york. I remeber i walked around and there was nobody on and i thought  this must be the new world so i travelled to manhatten where there were about 15 people. The game i enjoyed even though there was only about  100 people on about 30 people on though went i logged on.  

But y did u all quit wat is wrong with fom ? From wat i have read people just played when it was in beta and only gave it a go for a month and then quit. Come back and play  even if its not your primary mmorpg. Play wow or eve and also subscribe to fom and just play for an hour today in the evening when theres a few people on it will be fun.

People don't play it becuase it sucks I know because I played it in beta and let me tell you the amount of people on when you played was the same as in beta crappy graphics shitty game play its not worth the money

Beta FoM remains to be the most fun I've ever had in an mmo.

The constant fighting towards the end of beta on PEgasi 51 and other such colonies. Then a while before that playing as an LED and Defending DMC from breakouts. ALso just doing patrol missions as LED was alot of fun.

theres a big reason to believe fom is going F2P with options ...

Most people who say FOM is rubbish, even in early Beta are most likley only interested in PvP games.   FOM had huge amount of potential, see other threads, but the role play was neglected and ruined.  too many people comming in looking for PvP and the game suited those who were good at running around in circles hotkeying medkits.

FOM early BETA is one of the best gaming experiences I have ever had, nothing has come close to it, and ive played dozens of MMORPGS.  when it went to end of BETA and P2P it was a completly different game, it had been butchered by the developers and left in a poorer state with more bugs and problems than there were before the graphics engine changed. 

Graphics are not everything, I didint really care about the Graphics, everything looked fine to me , it was all about the Roleplay and interaction between factions players and superiors, having to look after and order junior ranks around etc.... Fancy graphic PvP are 10 a penny, but a true Roleplay game that has the same conecpt as FOM is extinct .

Why oh WHy did they have to screw FOM up?

Opps I must of ended up in the wrong forum.  What the hell is this?  This some sort of MMO or something lol.  Seriously, just put the game out of it's misery.

Yep, it's the only actual mmorpg here aside from UO (or it was pre-milestone, before it was raped and gutted for "awsum grafix"). Go back to your 'skill-based MMOs'.
