Lol. I do agree, you do need to go outside.
The game will take to much of your life to play and you dont see it but i do. I have friends who have gotten adicted to MMOs and they end up deppressed and wanting to kill them selves. This game (if you want to play it right) takes so much time that people will only rely on it for social things and kill there out of game social life. I like MMOs, but I had to play like 4 hours to do anything and ive got a family and other real responsabilities, and this game (thank goodness) is not addictive so its esay to put down. WoW, on the other hand, to alot of my time and was very adictive, and i stoped playing for that. I like working on a house and seeing the one kid on the computer with no life playing a MMOs and does nothing else all day. gezz. All games sould be a max of one hour of play so you can accomplish something, feel satisfide with your char, and the role you play. |

I ain't some freak I go out and play basketball almost everyday, I just am telling you why this game isn't for you.
In addition, I already told you 1 hour on this game is a laugh, you are obviously the person that gets kicks from being lvl 99 along with 1,000 other people and never truly making friends in game, and trust me an accomplishment in FoM is more than wow as anyone can get where you are in wow, but only a few people can get certain positions in FoM. |

I dont believe age has anything to do with maturity past 12 years old. I was playing text based mmorpg back when i was 14 and never insulted or harrased a player in my life. Its the way parents raise thier children these days, with a give me everything and die personality. Pretty sad actually, so selfish. But hey for every person that drops in and says "it SUCKS WTF" Thats one that wont be running around ruining the game. :) |

Well i never got past lv 36 in wow and lv 80 some in anarchy(it has 220 lvs) I just never get that interested in these games but for a short while. Im looking for that one game that does everying close to right. Anarchy did ok with this by giving a new lv cap and expanding the game so much. Wow did not. So i gues im not "one of thoughs people" But hey, they all ran madly twards the goal. And thats just some thing i say b/c i got ocd
 . But this game just needs some more time in the oven its not done and it tasts to doughy. When its all said and done this game just needs to be finished before they put a price on it. To finish my illustation you would not sell doughy bread just b/c you dont have enough money to run the oven no one would buy that anyway. This game is they same way. If you can afford the servers than dont sell the game just to cover it. Find other funding do something anything but dont let out an unfinished game. Thats not fair to the consumer and they know that, why do you think there is no free trial to con people to a month. I know what your going to say "but if they offer a free trial then people will open one and not care about there char." Well i hate to tell you this but unless you can threaten people with there real lives then thats going to happen anway, like it is now. The only way to keep people from running around killing whoever is to keep them busy with something eles. As of right now if you pick MOB and BOS thats all you do anyway. And thats not fun for me just b/c i dont like being the powers that be does not mean that I dont want to have something to do other than my allies get cabben fever and kill me. Aother thing is a gun is sapposed to shoot as fast as i can press MB1 but its slow even on aotomatics. There are to many problems to list(some tried) but what it all comes down to is shut down the servers build it on a network and make it right. Then when it works sell it. |

Maybe you should stop being worried on how other poeple do spend there free time. I enjoying playing this game, does that mean I'm addictive? No, it does not. It just that I enjoy playing video games, instead of reading an newspaper, book, or sit in the garden. Does that mean I do not accomplise anything? Offcouse it does not. I have school and I do finish it. MY social life is also jsut fine. I meet people all over the world and got recently invited to go out in scotland. I doubt a lot of Dutch poeple can say they know scoties poeple who ask them to drink an beer in scotland(well more then one). Also. Maybe you should watch the TV a bit more. It seems that more kids commit suicide becouse of social activities (being bullied at school) then they do becouse they get deppressed playing an video game. About this game. This game can be addictive. If you enjoy roleplaying and such and an good cominuty. It also seems that the game devs have changed there altitude and dicided to listen a bit more to what the games want. It great to see that devs actualy listen to there player for once. Things that will be in becouse players ask 1st person view Changing the map so you dont see your enemies. MAYBE changing an certian map poeple said it needed an change Notepad and Calculator. can go on like that. The first two will be implented within an month. |

I thought is was an awsome game, and the only reason I dont play now is I cant pay. If you actually try to play, it is a whole lot better. Get to know your team mates, and get involved.

Yes the so fun social activity in school i once indulged in..... bulling. Bulling is not a social activity.
 So lets center on one thing and pick it apart like animations or the lack there of. The sit and stand ones are good. but lets think of other things like mining(done on terminal)l, Producing(done on terminal) Wow had a better crafting animation and it is to hands rubing together. "leather armor (rub rub rub) clothes (rub rub rub) Tolit Papper(rub rub rub)" One thing is when you mined in Wow you hit rocks so it looked like mining. |

So.. he wants to mine rocks in the future? Anyway, No I'm currently not paying for FoM but I've been there since closed beta which was almost two years ago. When you ask me: "What makes FoM fun?" I can only say it is the community. I such a great time in beta with the other guys, we made our own roleplay and enjoyed it. Now the problem is that with the "die hard" community that played the game for ages its hard to accept new players. WEll, Prisoners still mine rock manualy. Using an mining gun. However it is indeed hard to become part of the core of the roleplay fanatics. IT also depence how you roleplay your own charater. This does not mean an new player is not accepted within the comunity.

I don't say they won't be accepted. Just don't expect to accepted right away. Also when you are in it the game will be more fun. And Duplex system is now working on the changes said at page 6 so I guess it will only become a better game. |
