    I can agree with this part.  Well except for you having the right to because you waited however long you say you have.  DF owes you nothing and the reasons you listed and the "pr spin" examples show that you are part of the reason why we keep getting unfinished games released to us in this genre.

    God forbid you could believe a company actually wanted to release a polished game to you.

    The problem with you guys is that when you make excuses for Darkfalls problems, you say "ITS OKAY" to their antics.

    If you want a good game like you say you do, you hold these bastards accountable for their actions, not make excuses for them to continue on their current path.

    You dont change a brats behavior by making excuses to everyone for his behavior, you punish them in hopes theyll be a little better person for it in the long run.

    
     

    Yea see this is why no one really takes you seriously on these boards anymore.

    Antics?  What antics.  DF owes us nothing.  They have explained their stance on how they handle the information they give out, if you dont like it, move on.  We arent paying customers yet, and we know that the dev team has our best interests in mind.  They have asked the community what we feel about things like SCS and SRS. 

    You call them delaying a beta and restarting the game or missing an update "antics".  When they start making lies to us like funcom, when we actually have to pay for it, then you can call them antics.   We choose to follow them.

    We dont need to make them accountable for their actions. 

    Innocent into proven guilty remember???  Guess not.

    Sounds like DF had the opportunity to release some kind of game into beta in 2003.  But chose not to because, like they said, they werent happy with it.  Guess you would rather have had them release whatever crap they had at the time instead of delay.  Unbelievable.

    Sounds like we are holding developers accountable when WAR openly admits to not being ready and what they are going to cut out.  And you think DF devs want to give out more info at this point when you trolls rip everything they say apart and anything they do say gets labeled as a lie or faked?  yea thought so.

    Why did the video take so long?  because if they just fraps'd for 5min and hosted it then it would have been ripped apart for whatever reason.  It was their first big marketing attempt in awhile and it had to be perfect.  and as good as it was...people like you still complained that they didnt show every spell and every aspect of the game.

    See? Whatd I tell ya? Point in case. They again react like Im making personal attacks against them each individually. I assure you thats not the case. I dont know or care who these people are individually, and I cant understand why they think I care about their PR spinning, ranting, and general tom foolery,

    My beef is with the game and its Aventurine, not you personally, I just dont get defending it like Im insulting your mother.
     

    You called DF fans a bunch of "frothing at the mouth wackos" and you think that having them reply to that with some hostility proves your point? You did attack every DF fan personally in your post. Like I said, try constructive criticism posted in a non-inflamatory way and I'll bet that you will get less hostile replies. Your wording in your posts is why you get the replies you do. Blaming the DF fans for that is like blaming bees for stinging you after you walked up and kicked their hive.

    Yes personal harrasment is low.

    As is calling a whole community of followers of a game guys that will literally froth at the mouth when they read your reply.

    Do you know how i or others in the Darkfall community as a whole react to a reply as the first one you did in this thread?

    No you dont.

    So i agree making personal attacks on someone is low.

    And putting all people in a community into a collective of rabid dogs is also wrong.

    So im not surpriced you got some PM.

    It maybe, however again, Ive never  come across a game whose fans were so.....enthusiastic. In 10 years Ive NEVER come across people like this. How bout this, SOME of you Darkfall fans are really over doing to the point of harassment, and it makes the whole community look bad.

    (Short of certain religious organizations who constantly show up at my door, ive never met anyone in my life that goes to the extent some of these fans have. If Ive insulted the whole instead of the supposed minority, my apologies. But from my experience its the majority that Ive dealt with not the minority.

    I have him blocked now so it should make things easier.  I am a sucker for troll bait every now and then.

    Funny considering I reported this guy for sending me an email full of garbage to my box. I deletedit,  but I counted 22 insults, and multiple cusswords. Tell me, is that not a little insane? Especially since I dont even know who he is?
     

    Yes that may be true but he is one of about 80,000 that is growing every day now. He hardly represents the entire community. Isn't that the topic of this thread... The DF community? Not just 1 or even 100 guys that might attack you for posting. We are talking about tens of thousands of people here... Maybe even 100k+ by the time this game launches. Only time will tell at this point though.

    Heres the difference between us gentlemen, I may complain about the community and their antics, I try to stay away from personally attacking people. Obviously you guys cant extend people with a different opinion the same courtesy.

    It's not like your insulting anyone's mother, you are insulting common sense.

    I don't see how you can justify complaining about something when you haven't bought anything.

    If the game is released and has features on the box that aren't in the game then complain as much as you want and everyone else will support you.

    Im not complaining sir, im voicing concern, since theres next to 0 by way of actual game play to actually complain about, I dont see how you drew this conclusion. Again my concern is with all the lip service that weve gotten from games like, DnL, Vanguard, AoC, etc etc, as well as the tons of times theyve pushed back the release date, year after year.
