There are some people saying lotro is a wow clone. Well - It is not, but there is certainly some truth in that. The interface is very similar and many other things. The quests are interesting and if you get bored of them, there's always the instances and group quests to do.
Just give the game a try, if you want to go to Middle Earth for a change, instead of Azeroth.

I know some people like to focus on pve and not be interrupted by a high level ganker, but they could keep your realms strictly pve. Adding factions and creating a pvp server would bring this game up to an another level. I love pve and pvp, but not having an equal balance of both brings no excitement to a game. I like the feeling of questing in and having to watch my back. I just hope they add another faction and a pvp server.
