    How old are your friends? A better question might be how will your friends get along with all the annoying little snot nosed juvenile delinquents that flock to all the mainstream next generation games such as WoW, AoC, and now WAR? I for one steer clear of such games as the community in those games make me want to stick a pine cone up my ass. Can you smell what I'm cooking? Currently playing Ryzom and the community there will not be beat...ever (although the gameplay is a bit drab but there is something about it that keeps me logging in...........................?

    Mainly 25 to anywhere to 40. Me being 26 myself... we all came from Vanguard. As for the War community go's... i can't really judge it yet. Cause with the lack of general chat channels.
     

    I don't ever notice anyone ever being immature kid's, like you always find in WoW, or AoC. And honestly im glad they made it that way. But it also makes people chat alooooooottttttttt less. Which is a good and bad thing.

    War is group based game and mainly guild based game to...... which you can easily filter assholes out your guild.

    My problem with War... which i happen to like a good deal. I never got a special feeling like i did with VG... like exploring all the bad ass sweet dungeons in VG. War to me anyways... has the same ol been there done that feeling with areas i visit. But the RvR and PQ's make up for it,.... for now anyways. Plus jobs in VG are more original and feel more epic to me then War's.

    I would take Vanguard PvE anyday of the week over Warhammers. But Wars RvR to damn fun. Wish i had the time for both games. Now if they could only combine both games... i would be in heaven.

  • Orionman you are a very sad man. You have gone on saying.. you never played War. Yet you keep coming here to bash and troll the game. You have said Xfire numbers are not accurate to base subs off of. Yet, you say it's the end of War cause of a decline of Xfire users.

    You honest to god.. make my brain hurt, reading your crap. Are you that sad... that you have to come here and try to bring down War... maybe you don't want to be alone with AoC sinking ship?? and want War to come down with it??

    I dunno, i don't care what your reasons are. Fact is you bout dropped everyones IQ 10 points... making this thread.

  • I don't know if this has been talked about.. so I'm sorry if it has. And i dunno if it was common rule of thumb to disable superfetch... while gaming on Vista... so im sorry again if it is.

    Friend on Warhammer told me, that turning off Superfetch using Vista... gave him a gain in performance. I thought it was complete bull, but i though it was BS... turning up AF to x16 to gain performance was BS to. But that actually gave performance gain.

    So i figured hey... what would it hurt. So i tured off Superfetch and actually gained performance with Warhammer.

    So i dunno, i figured i share.. for people who like to see if they can gain some more performance using Vista. And didn't know bout superfetch.

    To disable.. click on Start Icon type services in search. Click on the services link. Scroll down to superfetch. Right click and click on properties... then where it says start up type click on disable.

    Hope it helps gain you some more performance.

    I guess what i said flew over your head. I know it's 7 years old. But honestly looking at your Xfire sig. You have enjoyed FFXI quite a bit.

    And you can't look past looking at a good game as VG cause of bad animations?? When you have enjoyed a game with just as bad or even worse animations in my book. Regardless of how fricken old it is.

    I know expectations are higher for a newer game. But it's pretty silly to come and whine about them. When you already have played some of the worst of the worst, when its come to animations.
