I think you hit it right on the head. I played WoW for too long... 2 pre-BC 60s Hunter, Loc Ally... 2 new post BC 70s Shammi, Durd, Horde. I have enjoyed both games. I really like the leveling system in WAR. I like the tactics, Career points, RP points, and the Guild system. But I am in the same funk. I just don't want to log into the game anymore. I am not going back to WotLK either. I hear a lot of RL people who played closed beta saying the same thing. They are mostly just burning time on Xbox. And these are long time MMOer SWGpreCU types. I am just wondering for most of us if once you have played a couple of MMOs hardcore, if that is it? It's like, ho hum, more gear, next skill, so on and so forth.
I got to T3 and honestly the knock back thing is really what I think turned me off. I was having fun in the Scenarios, but getting launched by every other toon is getting dull.
I also see a decline in server pops on WAR. I think that in two weeks when sub free sub time is up, and then two weeks later when WotLK comes out, the servers will be ghost towns. People are already rerolling to the highest pop servers to cover this just in case.
I guess maybe I am also done with MMOs :(
I am a huge Sci-Fi fan! I have been thinking about this game for a while. I have read that you can play this game for a year, get smoked, and lose everything! (Or does insurance cover that?)

Nope. US, Ulthuaan.
I played WoW for the last 2 yeara, TR for a week, and most recently AoC on day one to quit on day four. I played open War open Beta for a day and bought the game. On opening day, I stared at it for 30 minutes on my bed wondering if I should blow $50 for a potential failure. I finally opened it, and after a quick install patch download, I have played it incessantly ever since! I am glad I did it and I will not be buying WotLK!
