    Gear means a hell of a lot of a lot, my dps tripled when I got my lvl 6 rhealm gear.

    Now you saying Mythic will never have a gear chase. If they don't have a gear chase, people will get bored and leave the game.

    A new game is like the 'unnamed politician'. The 'unnamed politician' always wins the election because you don't know nothing about him. Once the polician is named, Obama or McCain, you then think they suck. It's because unnamed is the perfect polician in your mind who agrees with everything you do. Once you find out his stand on global warming doens't match yours, he's not so good.

    Games are the same way, you haven't actually played them so they are doing everything right in your mind. Once you play them you find out they suck.

    WAR is an okay game. Hyping up to unreal expectations will ruin the game for a lot of people.

    While I agree that overhyping can kill a game (I'm looking at you AoC) stating your opinion as fact is just as bad. WAR may be only ok to YOU, but in my books it's really good. It will of course differ if you ask someone else, and that is why opinion is NEVER fact and should be stated in such a way as to highlight that fact.

    Hmm, well they have templates for 4 of the other cities already. It's all a matter of actually putting the designs into the computer, creating instances for them, creating the NPCs and creating loot drops etc. as well as bosses.

    I'm almost 100% sure they'll introduce 2 new  cities in the next expansion :-/ because there's so little work to be done to implement em

     

    getting something in an expansion that should of been in from the start would suck in my opinion. I wouldn't buy that expansion if it were the stuff that was supposed to be in at release..its a sly money making thing over a technicle thing if that is the case.

     

    I agree with this post. I've been saying from the day that WotLK was announced that it's BS to charge money for the Hero class, and siege weapons we were promised at release 4 years ago. And we werent even promised just ONE hero class either.

    As a CB tester of WAR I can attest that this game is awesome. The only thing I am worried about is some of the later areas. When I was on them they seemed devoid of any and all life. I'm sure thats because they are RVR zones, but if it's anything like the beta come live then only the Chaos/Human areas will have people in them.

    Care about the game?  Neither fanboys nor mythic have given anyone outside the beta much to care about.  It's a win win for me.  If it turns out to be great I'll be there.  If not, at least I didn't commit prematurely.  Oh poor neglected greymann didn't get in in open beta and that first week of launch.  I smell fanboy fear big time on this one.  Hope some people don't have to change their avatars soon.

    The thing is that i stated earlier, is this has been common knowledge for quite some time now. Bringing this up is redundant. If you think Mythic hasn t been open on info and given people things to care about, you re either blind or living under a rock.

    Right, you just want to get in the game for a free trial, a little preview to see if you like it, not to test. The game's better off without you so stop your bitching. "Oh but I will test you don't know what I'll do!!" I hope you don't come up with that kind of response, haha. You've already showed that you think beta should be a marketing tool more than a development tool.

    
     

    If you don't think betas are a marketing tool you understand nothing about business.  Dev's remotely confident in their product will use it.
