I just got 80.. two days ago.
1-20 :: few hours
20-45 :: 20 hours?
45-80 :: 2hrs per level MAX.. most less (depending on PVP action)
So, 95hours/15days ~ 6 1/3 hours per day. I usualy played around 4hrs a day, some nights went kinda long when the exp was too good to pass up... hell, I got 70-77 in like 10hrs when I had monday off work.
Well, if you do keep the game... and play on US servers, roll on Doomsayer so I can rape you repeatedly.
Seriously? You will not be buying a Funcom product ever again because they are "screwing you" out of $0? They make you put in billing info but don't charge you until necessary? They make you put in a timecard but won't use it until necessary?
There are so many ways around this outside of buying a timecard... which I'm assuming is your main grief (not sure if you want to continue playing past 30days). Quit bitching.
On a side note: I have seen so many Grammar Whores on forums lately. I'm sure I just gave you all 3-5 hours of entertainment picking apart my incredibly retarded post.

First off, im not trying to hate on SWG at all, past and present form. I simple just want to know what made star wars galaxies such a great came back in the day before the CU and NGE. I played the trial for 2 weeks a couple of months after it was released but i didn't get a good feel for the game. So please, explain to me what the old SWG was like.
The amount of players was the only thing that made me enjoy that game, I met some people that I liked, and tore through games with them for the next year or two.

Really looking forward to this.. They are taking the Darkfall approach and they have a Shadowbane guy.
Good luck guys. I'll be following you with enthusiasm.
It seems that finally game developers are starting to understand the fact that a lot of us gamers are tired of the linear crap put out by a lot of companies.
You do realise it all vapor untill we see something.. and taking the darkfall approch.. I assume you mean never intending to release a game and just giving us storys and odd screen shot every few months all the while say Beta is just around he corner. ROFLKingIsle will fold in the next 6 months.
