um no FFXI isnt dead. while the game may be kinda old and the population isnt as big as it once was its far from dead. theres still tons and tons of fun to have with it. if you dont like it thats fine but.... come on.
oh and wow is a fun MMO as well just alot diffrent than FFXI. PVP is alot better and the game focuses more on it than FF does. also like others have said its pretty easy to solo and the graphics have a very distinct look thats enjoyable to see. now i dont have to much experiance in wow but from what ive played theres fun to be had in both games its just up to your play style

i love pc and console gaming and i do agree that each have their own set of jerks and childish fans. with that said i just hate being bunched in with them because of the system i play.

i think you have to download a special version of playonline for vista from playonline.com. i dont know for sure if you still have to though.
