Well I just completed my new build and used the new drivers for the 9800gtx+ then downloaded the game and tried it in offline mode and all is well. No problems as far as i can tell. Must be a Vista problem with them.

I'm considering renewing my sub and have seen an issue on the O boards (official boards) with the new drivers and the 9800gtx. Is this a vista only issue? Does this include the 9800GTX+? If so which drivers are the best usable ones?
I only ask because I have a 9800GTX+ upgrade coming Thursday and I can't post in the windows help forums (O boards) with my username and password for some reason (never been banned).

I can only say wtf and shake my head, it is not like i can afford a home at 30k a year before taxes without a pay raise for the last 12 years.
Why do my tax dollars have to pay for this shit, let the system crash. I will still be poor. Either way.
It is truly a scary time I'm afraid.
after reading this article and seeing so many of the factories around here close (me being an hourly worker as well), it gives me and my family alot to think about.....

read the "talkback" responses as well. I personally as a middleclass worker am worried as well.

I heard a safer way to pay for stuff online is by using cards you buy at a place like, umm Target?? . You put a certain amount of cash into it and when you're done, throw it away or refill it again. Anyone know much about this, or where I can get one? Thanks
While using these prepaid cards are "nifty", there is a better solution for your online shopping/business needs. You are not obligated to have only one bank account. And (here in the USA anyway) alot of banks offer free checking accounts with no balance, to a min $25 balance requirement. Presto you have a secure card to take online with you inwhich you only need to add enough money to cover internet expenses. To top it off most of these free accounts allow you to check your transactions online to spot fraud. This is the consumers best friend with dealing with online transactions as it keeps the family's bank account safe by not being online in the first place.
