Not that AoC is that flawed... It's just that Funcom aren't competent enough! They might be good for running a small niche MMO like Anarchy Online... But undertake a huge project like AoC, build up the hype, and then fail to deliver is a sure recipe for trouble.
Age of Conan is FFA, that's pretty different from WAR which has factions.
ToS is a very powerful and good class IMHO. My ToS alt is only lvl50 so far, but I'm already enjoying it much more than my Demonologist which is lvl80. It nukes almost as hard as a Demo, gets heals, and gets invited to parties (cuz, I'm a priest after all).
AoE nukes, single target nuke, CC, heals, it's all there... ToS rawks :)
In 1 vs 1 - Bear Shaman with the right build can one-shot all clothies. VERY good class. Tempest of Set is also very good in 1 vs 1.
In group PvP - everyone targets the priests first, GG! Priest of Mitra is best in group PvP since he has immunity skills. Lets him survive for a few seconds longer...
AoC is in fact getting better. It just takes time. You know Funcom looks after their games, Anarchy Online has been there for 7 years, constantly updated and even getting a graphics engine update soon.
It's just that Funcom as a company wasn't ready for a project as big and as hyped as AoC (IMHO).
Anyway, there was this big PvP update promised two months ago, it's still not there, they are not very good at keeping promises... They are desperately trying to keep their players from leaving IMHO.
