I suppose it would be cheaper to go that route, however I saw this machine and thought it looked like a viable option to get current with today's technology at a reasonable price. I don't necessarily need to be right at the cutting edge - I just want something to adequately run games like AOC. Also, I appreciate the opinions of other gamers/tech folks. I welcome any additional input. Thanks!
Thanks for the reply...I don't mind spending around $1k, but obviously the less the better. I was curious about how the amd processor equated to the Intel countepart - is there a significant difference? Also, from what I have read, the 9600's are not a bad card currently for the price when compared to others like the 8800...Is that untrue? Thanks again.
