WoW has delivered all of the stats with gear that they have no room for further gear additions.
Increase the HP, increase the mana, increase the +damage.... and let the crowds fight for gear again and again, till the next big patch comes in. That's what happens if you make a full gear centric game. No skill, just gear.
Master and servants.
That's why I prefer those MMO's that don't want to keep you playing for as long as possible. You know, the ones that don't exist.
You above poster is correct about the BGs. You shouldn't have an issue finding them in any level range.
You will need to buy BC to play WotLK. Without BC you're locked at lv60, and Northrend is 68-80 level content. That said, there's A LOT more PvP content in BC and WotLK promises even more (siege warfare!). You can get a full set of lv70 epic gear simply by doing BGs now. If you liked the old PvP system in vanilla WoW I think you'll enjoy the system in place now.
You have to admit that the GW engine has it a bit easier. Unlike WoW, the game is heavily zoned/instanced. And everyone looks the same.

I find that extremely hard to believe. I suggest anyone looking to do this ask on the SOE Vanguard support forums and get an official response. You pay for that game time when you buy the box.

It is instanced , As for heavily instanced...well, I suppose that depends on how you define 'Heavily"
however, it is also instanced by need, due to the graphics, the system requirements, and the number of anticipated people playing this game, it was a must.
I wrote a little about this in my AoC Review HERE
To the OP... yes, it's instanced. Heavily up to 20, and then you start getting out into the real world where things aren't instanced so much, but you need to go through loading screens in between zones, where as in WoW you would just see a stark change in scenery and that'd be the end of it.
Do you currently play any NCsoft published games?
