Here's an idea: don't exploit.
Look up the word exploit. Purposely cheating the system.
A lot of players who stopped using Xfire for WoW probably re-installed it when they bought AoC.
So that 12.5% is probably more like 4.5% who legitimately we're using Xfire before AoC was released.
I was thinking about doing that a few days ago. But I don't like Xfire.
No, play AoC, PvE server.

Rpg's are the base for all MMORPG's and AoC is more MMORPG that the WoW ever gonna be.
This is as close to oblivion as any game ever had come!
Well, yes, so far AoC feels a lot more like single player console RPG's.
Funny though, because old Elder Scrolls fans were disappointed with Oblivion, and were calling it less of an RPG than it's ancestors, Morrowind, Daggerfall, etc. I think some of them went so far as to say Oblivion was not an RPG.
Anyway, AoC is an MMORPG. Not an MMOFPS. At least not unless they improve FPS mode.
It isn't the multiple directions that make people say AoC is an FPS. It's because you don't have to target someone to hit them (as melee, or in FPS mode with bow). You can swing in front of you, and the game does collision detection to see if you hit them. If you zoom into first person, the game feels like an FPS. I just wish casters had to aim all of their spells. They only have to aim some of them (just like in WoW). WoW is completely target based, except for AoE.
I'm hoping MMOG's move away from target based combat, and more towards FPS, like AoC has, but even further like Oblivion, Spellborn, etc.
How do you feel about advertising inside games?
