Theyre making fun of you. Kauri is totally dead.

Do you REALLY think that Bioware and EA can make a game like SWG with all its features?
I cant wait for their version of housing system, crafting, space simulation, player cities...
I don't want a remake of SWG. I want a decent PRE-CU combat system and features that work.
The problem SWG had over it's history is that there was too much put in that was simply not finished. Having features that are constantly broken isn't enough.
Blizzard released WOW with far fewer features, but the features that were in at launch woked and people enjoyed the game. Over time they slowly patched in new content and features.
In contrast SOE attempted to launch too much at launch and ended up patching bug fixes instead of content.
Thats why i dont like WoW, its too simple and boring, not enough stuff to do.

Maybe not, but the complete revamp of the Weaponsmith profession in GU5 has gone quite a way to making the game better. Once again, weapon crafting is a complex and rewarding process that brings crafted weapons to the top of the food chain..
Once again?
Then that begs the question why was it altered to begin with, and why were people paying for it for nearly the last 3 years?
Seems everytime something is made useful again people hearld it as a some kind of triumph, when in fact it shouldn't have been made unuseful to begin with!
Maybe because some idiots made thing called NGE in 2005? Got it?

- So how are the current players taking the news of a KOTOR MMO ?
I and many others didnt like KOTOR and i have serious doubts that it will be MMO at all.
- any discussion of a possible shutdown for SWG ?
No, only between people who hate SWG..
- Are forum posts being removed ? I havent seen much on their gameplay forum which is where most of the major posters go.
I havent noticed anything and iam reading it every day. There are thousands of post about KOTORO on the forums.
- Any cancellations that you know of from players (yes its early but the game might seem pointless now with no future to play for) ?
No, only some haters on the forums again. But people are returning to SWG from AoC fail.

But if you're having fun for each month that you pay for, then wouldn't you be getting your money's worth?
It's not that simple with mmorpgs and their persistent worlds. Why put time and effort into a character today if it's not going to be around tomorrow? That is his concern.
Because theres no proof to even think about that your character wont be around tomorrow.
SOE doesnt look like it plans to shut SWG down in the next 2-3 years, i wouldnt be surprised if they announce expansion for the next year actually. Theyre adding a lot of stuff into SWG, to be honest, the next year might be the best of SWG, as it gets into better shape. Wait for the info from Fan Faire!
