    It's crazy really.  I love the game, but hate the company.  They're rude and arrogant, and they have no clue how to communicate and interact with their player base.   As much as I like this game, I can easily see myself being pulled away as soon as something else comes out with decent graphics, fun gameplay, and a customer oriented company.   Funcom makes SOE look good.

  • AoC is fun, but it's not all that polished.  It also has it's own share of problems and weaknesses.  A truer comparison might be McDonalds and Wendys.  I don't think any MMO is serving steak at the moment.

  • Not surprised.  The game has been down most of the day, and they've delayed bringing it back up twice already.  The launcher says it'll be up at 4:30 EDT.  That was nearly a half hour ago and it's still down.

    Now the forums crash.  Funcom is a joke.

    So because the technical support forum is full of player issues, you've concluded that the vast MAJORITY of players have frame rate issues?  Besides players having problems, who else would typically be posting in the tech support forums?  Geez....  Vast majority.  Where do you people come up with this stuff?

  • Actually, the official forums are overwhelmingly positive.  It's a nice change from most game forums and the doom and gloom crap.
