He isnt a game dev, would they have prefered he gave a bs response.. like "I will have the dev team look into it!" If the devs designed it so you cant go back, then you cant go back. Why people require some extensive convoluted answer to such a simple question is beyond me.
You can go back to Tortage, that's the point. He anwsered with his own opinion. Basically, anyone that wants to go back to Tortage is a ganking loser was where he was going with it.
The thing is, if he would've responded in a professional manner, no one would have called him a douche and gotten banned. He responded like a typical troll, then kept the thread open, perpetuating the problem.
Bottom line is FC fails from Management, all the way down to their volunteer moderators. You lie to people and bad karma comes your way.
P.S. He kept that thread open specifically to ban people that took his bait.

I really think Funcom should be thanked for releasing AoC in the condition it's in.
I believe they have opened up other developers eyes, and made them realise they can't release unpolished garbage and get away with it.
I don't look at paying 50 dollars for AoC as a rip off anymore. I look at it like an investment in the future of mmo's.
Warhammer cutting cities and classes is a prime example. They saw the backlash FC got from it's customers and realised they need to release the content when it is polished.
Care for any cheese with your whine? It's been said 10000 times already.
First it was the evil SOE for killing SWG, next it was Lineage II and their billions of bots, then WoW and their cookie cutter approach, now it's Funcom.
What did they do wrong? They did just like every-other-company before them did. They sold you lies and fooled you with smoke and mirrors.
I was smart enough to NOT buy it and wait to see how it turned... seems as the majority disapproves. Do you want a bridge? Get over it.
Chill out on the nerdrage there champ.
70 posts and you just joined yesterday screams troll.
I am an unemployed person right now. If you read any of my post, you'll see that a lot (if not all) of them actually have some sence to them.
It's not just one or two words like a "troll" would. If you call someone who enjoys using the forums and actually posting a troll, then you, me and everyone here is a troll.
I am bored... I have a few forums I post on, doesn't consider anyone a troll if they enjoy posting. Please forgive me oh great one.
I'm just saying that everyone who rushed out and bought AoC should of known better. Then everyone cries and makes 50,000 threads on this forum and wishes how they need to burn like SOE. I just tell them to hush, cry a river, build a bridge and get over it.
They ran your pockets and took another one to the bank. How's that being a troll? I was smarter then the adverage bear here. :)
An average bear that can't spell.
Like I said, 70+ posts in 24 hours = troll. Plus you never bought the game, but you want to tell me what to post about it? Seriously, gtfo and get a job.
Just saw this thread on the official boards and laughed my ass off. It just keeps getting better.

Would you rather see a game release pushed back a year or have the game release witha few bugs that will be fixed?
