They probably enter bgs because alot of people enjoy pvp or they're testing the class out to see how well they do in pvp. I'm assuming at some point Blizz will put rewards in the system.

MMOs were Originally designed to keep players playing for years.
Todays mmo market has a ton of really good games from fantasy level based to sci-fi sandbox.
From UO to WAR all of these games follow the "keep the players playing and paying" design.
The MMO genre hasn't gotten worse, you've just gotten tired of it all.
Think about it, how long did you play your first mmo? a few years?
Then you left due to burn out and since then have tried every mmo on the market (playing each game no longer than a few months) hoping to recreate the feeling of your initial game.
News flash guys you will never recreate that feeling you once had with your first mmo.
The mmo genre isn't going to suddenly change into this never seen before game type that will have you feeling the way you did.
If you find yourself waiting for a new mmo every couple of months thats a sure fire sign that this genre isn't for you.
If you find yourself playing a game and telling everyone that you're just waiting for another good game to release so you can leave, you're tired of the genre and need to leave.
Log off, uninstall, toss the CDs/Dvds in the bin and play a different genre. It's ok... you can do it. Its only a game after all.
Telling someone what to do is useless.
Folk will decide what they want to do whether it makes sense to you not.
It's ok Xioca =) I dont mind drama.
I share a similer story but with EQ2.
I eventually moved over to Wow. I dont play it as much as I used to but I go back and visit my characters from time to time and check out new content.
It's not a teenage rant, I work in a call center. You'd be surprised how many 'adults' have teenage rants over the silliest things ![]()
I used to play wow quite alot about 2 years ago but went casual due to time constraints. I've had a few sabbaticals from it but usually end up going back. I too own most mmos out there ( as well as f2p mmos and single player pc games). I'm going to go back to wow for a bit to try out new content and chat with old buddies.
Different strokes for different folks.
I too like the game although I'm pretty fickle when it comes to game play.
Glad you like it ![]()
I'm in Thebes as well, my main is Nilla ( may change after I rethink classes)
On a side note, I took a peek at forum troll above, boy talk about regurgitated pov ad nausem. ![]()
What aspect of MMORPG's are you more into?
