I just have to say that THIS, not Warhammer or AoC....THIS is what I am waiting for that, I believe, will deliver me from the clutches of not only WoW, but EQ2. I've been trapped in both for 4 years (back and forth between the two, never QUITE happy).

ISo why did I cancel? I guess after playing UO and WOW/TBC for many years in the past, im just sick of the grind and rpg's no longer appeal to me, sure the game looks nicer than WOW and the combat system is well.... different i wont say better because insted of mashing the same few keys, I'm mashing a larger amount to kill stuff, but other than that it feels just like WOW, i find myself looking at the mini map for a yellow ! running to it, spam clicking all the dialogue to accept the quest, then i run the the X on the map and ether spam through dialogue or mash buttons to kill something then repeat.
Not to say there is anything wrong with such repetitiveness but having gone through 4, level 70's in wow I don't want to do it again at least not in the same fashion.
You can't possibly apply such observations to AoC because you haven't played the game to level cap and you haven't done all there is and will be to do in this game. WoW would be an excellent game if they took out alot of the grinding requirements and added more quest lines that were even a little more involved than killing 10 boars, or 12 birds, or 15 wolves, etc. But as I said, that's the staple of MMORPGs, it just shouldn't be the only thing on the menu. If AoC follows the same formula, then I would agree with you that it's WoW all over again, but at this point, you and I simply do not know that it is. And with the list of promised features, I tend to believe it will offer more of a variety and therefore be more fun to play than WoW ever was.

My connection?? its a t2 men, and ping its 200~over 1000, and all players have same problem, and its true all games have bugs but its game dont fix SEVERAS BUGS AND CRASHES, you are a newbie player, im play this game one year, and look hellgate forums, many players hate this game, if you want drop your money to trash, its you opinion.
Well I can tell you that not all players have your problem. I haven't crashed OR lagged in a very long time.
As a subscriber (soon to be a former subscriber), my problem with the game now is I've seen everything there is to see in the game. One can only do Moloch and Wilds runs so many times before boredom sets in. Maybe the Abyss will breathe some new life into it, but that's what they thought about Stonehenge. After a few weeks of its release, Stonehenge was already getting boring.
So I guess if you have a T2, you might want to steer clear of this game since it appears it doesn't work right over a T2. ![]()

exactly Shannia, they have PR, Community Managers, Mods, and Tech Support people for a reason. Use them. A little knowledge to the general populace can go a long way to quench some of our questions.
I haven't cancelled my pre-order and plan on giving the game a fair shake at launch, but I'm not kidding myself either. This game is chock full of issues that can't possibly be fixed in two weeks.
How can Funcom work on fixing bugs in an old build? Go check the official forums. They clearly state that they are patching the Closed Beta client with code from the OPEN BETA client to try and figure out the problems. Why would they do this for an old build? C'mon people. Use that stuff between your ears. There is no super sexy build that no one has seen. What you are seeing in OB is what it is. That's what you'll be getting when you open your retail box. Sure, there will be patches and some of the issues will be resolved with those patches, but if you expect a night and day difference between the game now and the game at launch, you'll be in for a rude awakening. I'm just hoping for enough of an improvement that I won't be tempted to sling my keyboard through the window in frustration.

I don't know what all the doom and gloom is about, I rarely crash and the game plays great for me. If it plays this well come launch time I see no problem. This forum is so full of negative people wanting it to fail. Ever since Vanguard launched people here have gotten downright nasty at times, still angry because of that and taking it out on any game with lots of hype that is close to launch. I wonder if the same kind of thing will happen when WAR comes close to launching.
That's great that it's working for you, but for every person that is having a good experience, there are others that aren't. What do you think, people are making up stories about the poor performance of the game for them? Try to see beyond the end of your nose please.
