  • I've pre-ordered the Collectors Edition and I'm still looking forward to it. But the game certainly has a couple of flaws. It's mostly where Funcom decided to stick with tried and true methods that I'm disappointed (like how they handled their raiding...very traditional, with all the usual potion/gear grinding horrors).

  • Don't be fooled, there's a lot more to this game than the fatalities and nipples which are so often discussed. An MMO with a good story, highly immersive setting and great art direction.

    There's more than just the gore!

• • Best quests

  • After a slow start, I kinda liked the quest ("mission") system in City of Villains. What I enjoyed most is that you were almost always following a single story-arc at a time, rather than just accepting and completing quests by the dozen. I'm not going to bother reading the quests when they're offered to me 20 at a time. City of Villains made me do my 'quests' one at a time. Gamewise, the quests weren't that interesting though.

    There's been a lot of praise for Age of Conan's quests, but since the game isn't out yet...

• • Never auto-select RP(-PvP) servers

  • If there's some sort of  "We advice you to play on this server" mechanism, never let it point to a Roleplaying server.

    In addition bring up a pop up when selecting a Roleplaying server, that warns players that there are additional rules on this server and that it isn't a "normal" server. Give them a "Do you really want to play on a Roleplaying server? Yes/No" or "Do you accept the additional Roleplaying rules? Agree/Don't Agree" option.

    Seriously, throw us roleplayers a bone
