  • {Angeles de Infiernos}is currently looking for couples who game together to join their growing numbers. We're a light to no RP guild currently focused on leveling and socialization. We call it a guild but for us it's family.
    
    Why couples only? We believe that couples who play together stay together. (Contrary to the rumours, this guild is 21+ but NOT a "swingers guild"!) We're a group of married/ltr people who like to be around other individuals who understand when you have to go AFK for real life things like kids, etc.
    
    We've made our way to a guild city and voicechat. The guild bank is stocked to overflowing and our chats are always full of lively banter. What more could you ask for?

We will honeymoon in England and then Ireland(avoiding all the crappy Tourist spots). When we finally get home we'll have moved on from AoC, but of course we'll always be fond of it. Soon after we'll be surprised to find we are going to have twins(Boy and Girl). In an odd twist we'll decide to name the boy after my AoC character and the girl after her AoC character. We'll then win the lottery and etc....

    Now, if I were to first run into my future wife playing a female character I have serious doubts that our relationship would develop in much the same way. On top of that, we wouldn't have a good name for our son.

    I like to think things through. I suggest everyone else do the same. You wouldn't want to ruin your lives.

    It's because of guys like you that I have officially decided that MMOs are the next Internet dating service. Where else can you pay a few bucks a month to interact and get to know someone the way you can while playing a game? Certainly not Match.com or Eharmony.

    As a married woman it is of no consequence to me one way or the other, but if I end up divorced (God I hjope not!) then I know the route to take!

  • I'm not completely addicted yet, but getting there. Of course, the husbands constant "this is as awesome as Final Fantasy without being completely Asian" every two seconds may have a tiny bit to do with it. (I hated Final Fantasy, by the way...outdated and too boring for my taste.)

    From the time I entered Khemi and began the struggle to understand travel the game lost a bit of its luster. Now that I have ventured out a bit to Old Tarantia and other places, it's not so bad. I'm getting there, slowly but surely.

    Crafting is what I am really dying to try. Once that begins, no doubt I will be COMPLETELY addicted. Jonesin' like the OP. In every MMO it seems that I end up being the resource goddess, a crafting fiend.

    *shrug*

    We shall see

  • I agree with the poster that said to each his own. I love World of Warcraft and I have now fallen in MMO love with Age of Conan. I'm a woman torn between two lovely...games.

    Age of Conan will probably never be a World of Warcraft killer but after logging into the Sentinels server for World of Warcraft not even ten minutes ago, I can say this....

    It's a thumb of slow down and people heading for other pastures.

    Stormwind was dead. I mean, there were three people in the AH and the only chat rolling by were from the trade channels. In my almost three years of playing I have NEVER seen it like that. NEVER!

    Now let's all hope that the "kidiots" stay where they are and leave the good stuff for the adults :)
