theres also a similar game in development if anyone has noticed(black prophecy).
F.Y.I. -- The developer of Black Prophecy has filed for insolvency in Germany. It is not yet known whether development for BP will continue, be cancelled, or if the whole project will be sold off.
Reakktor has stated on the NC board that they are 100% daughter to 10tacle which has forced them to file insolvency as well.
I think BP is done for. :(
Multiplayer Space games have never done well, EvE being an exception because it doesn't take twitch skills to fly the ships.
Unless they can make the flying in JGE Tard-Friendly it's gonna be the same story as all skill based flying games:
A nearly empty universe with some die hard fans that make new players feel unwelcome.
(OOPS, I just described JGClassic)
I don't expect JGE to do well but I will still pay and play.
I don't trust putting the code on any of my systems anymore after all the BS that has gone on with this game.
I think I'll have to pass on IIA this time around.
Seriously, SnailGame, give it up... Your crappy grind fest of a game is dead and giving away a weak PC is not going to save it.
I can't get over the OP paying $50.00 for TR...
I completely disagree that Entropia Universe is "gambling" or a "casino".
Casinos have SET RULES that NEVER CHANGE so the gambler plays against the odds and nothing else.
Entropia does not have set rules and the developers are able to change the odds at their whim, it's like going to a casino that has loaded dice or marked cards.
The end result is that EU is a scam/money pit and only those that have put in tremendous amounts of money ever reap any reward.
EU is only for people with very LARGE disposable incomes that can throw away thousands of dollars on entertainment.
If throwing away thousands of dollars is something you are financially comfortable with then EU could be entertaining, but I have to ask myself why anyone, that isn't a wealthy shut-in, would want to spend thousands of dollar on a "virtual world" that isn't graphically good looking and offers very little in the way of "game play" ?
