I personally love AoC, I have 2 80s already (don't ask)
Hilarious, you act like its an accomplishment, when a broken Apprenticing system currently allows for extreme powerleveling.
Couple that with the leveling sploits that were there during the week of release, and you're two 80s look even less attractive.
Theres no need to ask, because how you did it is common knowledge, and is not related to ingame dedication and time spent at all.
Unless you are trying to say you legitimately leveled two characters to 80 within the first month of release, in which case I would have a hard time believeing you didn't use any of the above methods.
Are you seriously flaming this guy because he mentioned that he has two lvl 80s? He was just saying that he has played through the game, he wasn't even bragging. poop
The real world is a visceral, nasty, scary place, with cursing, gore, fear.... oh yeah, female and male nudity.
Some of us who have been desensitized by the real world are getting tired of playing cartoon games. I've suffered through these terrors in real life, and I would like to explore these attributes of life in the safety of a virtual fantasy world. AoC's draw was that it was going to be the mmo(fantasy)rpg to include just a taste of real life, mild nudity, and mild slurs. Can't you understand how betrayed some of us are that these very minor quibbles are being omitted now... basically just being a re-hashing of EQII?
And what the hell is so insulting about a nipple anyway?
T S R F T W!!!
Wizards of the "pffft" shoulda stuck with their stupid tcgs.
we miss u Gary.
A lot of truth in here.
I have a 70 priest who has been holy since day one (release). We have come and gone as the most bad-ical healers in the game, but everyone else has pretty much explained who the best healers are now.
The one caveat I would add here is that in BGs and arena, the softy-clothy priest has to be hella bouncy to stay alive, whereas a holy pally (as an example) can stand and soak damage while healing. On my rogue (als0 70) I have come across shammies and holy pallies that do nothing but sit there and heal themselves, and no matter what I do I can't kill them... druids can be tough in this way too, but if I catch them in caster form I can get them down. But a priest? No, dead. Don't get me wrong, a priest can win, but it takes mad skillz, bounciness, and a little luck; whereas the pally/shammy can just sit there and heal themselves to infinity until help comes.
Mind-Controlling someone off the world in Outland is hella fun though :)
I don't know where you guys keep getting the idea that the Horde side is more mature; the idea of being a violent monster is an adult thing?
There are a lot of kids playing WoW, both sides. The ally kids at least have the courtesy to not spam nasty, vulgar junk in the chat channels, something too common in Barrens chat.
Also, in Undercity, the Undead have humans in cages and they are torturing them. F' that, I'd love to kill a monster that was torturing a human. Alliance all the way.
(one horde orc hunter 70, two ally 70s)
Would you rather see a game release pushed back a year or have the game release witha few bugs that will be fixed?
