Guys, a KOTOR MMO would HAVE to have a million jedi running around.
It's set thousands of years before the movies, the jedi are in abundance, not dwindling numbers like in the later movies.
Hate to burst the OP's bubble, but being in the beat, IMO this game won't even touch WoW.
Yeah, it'll get attention when it first comes out, but I doubt it'll last. There's no real story, the entire game, or at least during my play time, felt like it was disconnected. LIke, there didnt seem to be one big world, but a bunch of small ones. And yeah, I know, tiers or whatever, but still, that's not what I think when I think of an MMO.
Warhammer is an online deathmatch game, not an MMO.
I like story in my games, kthxbai.
I'd say once Blizzard releases a new MMO, and takes most of it's attention away from WoW, it will begin to thin out. I doubt it will ever die out in the next 20 years, lmao. Even if there is another MMO, people will still play.
Do you have to have game disks to use the buddy pass?

Personally i would not play it. Because it wouldn't be the original Diablo makers who would make it.
Blizzard is a top noch company, they don't need certain people to make a game great, I can guaruntee you that.
Having said that, I don't believe the next MMO will be Diablo. While I believe Diablo 3 will get announced next month, I think it will be the same style game of it's predacessors, a fast paced hack-n-slash online game. Diablo would be too similar to WoW as far as gameplay (or should I say WoW borrowed too heavily from Diablo).
The most logical thing would be to make a Starcraft MMO. It would be an ambitious project, yes, but nothing like it would have been seen.
What aspect of MMORPG's are you more into?
