• • War VS..... Guild Wars GO!!!

  • far too different games.  GW 8 skill system gives it HUGE amounts of customization, WAR has much less customization, with a larger focus on class roles.  please, don't compare the 2 games.

    EVE.  play it, far more deep and complex than WAR.  despite being aimed at an incredibly small market (heavy death penalty, space setting, non-level based) it has become the second largest pay to play MMO in the western world, and I believe its only in 3 place if you add in Asia (behind Lineage2?).

     

    go ahead, bash EVE.  you've never played it and I doubt you'd get all the way through the tutorial, but is a far better made MMO than any other I've seen.  I'll stick by that statement despite the fact that I don't play it anymore, and will be playing WAR, and have been playing WAR.

  • be gone? you think WAR is perfect and it isn't.  I took "click on trees" as an example, read the whole thing.  you listed achievements and tome unlocks, achievements are a type of tome unlock, it has the same little popup in the middle of your screen.

     

    WAR IS A GREAT GAME EXCEPT.... yes! we can say that, its not being picky, its being honest.  if WAR was a great game except 1 out of every 10,000 people who played it died it's a problem, you don't just ignore it.

     

    you sir are a troll, being the OP of a topic doesn't make you somehow immune.  your reaction to every post here has further proven you are a hopeless fanboi.

     

    you think the game has to be perfect, it has to be BETTER than others to enjoy it, and THATS why you come off as an idiot.  the rest of us just think we need to enjoy a game for it to be fun, and thus we come across as... not idiots?  I don't need to defend WAR against people who say "its a good game but PQ looting needs to be reworked" because thats not something you need to defend the game against.

     

    when people come here saying WAR causes poverty and AIDS then you can go rabid fanboi on them and defend the game.  until then you need to calm down and stop trolling, you actually make the game look bad.

  • none? WAR doesn't have some crazy virus that infects your PC and uninstalls all your other MMOs.  MMOs don't kill each other, even WoW didn't kill the MMOs that came before it, like Lineage2 and EVE.  and if getting 10million subs won't kill other MMOs, then I guess the only way left is that crazy virus.

  • Didn't EVE start out with a closed economy and decide it was hopeless and move to their current version?  I don't mean to be a wet blanket but could a closed economy ever work in a game?
