• • Where can I find MATURE people?

  • I don't think there are many mature people who play the game anymore. To be honest, the majority of mature people have quit and moved on to other games. When I first started playing runescape 5 years ago, there were a lot of mature people willing to help out newer players. Of course there was always some scammers and immature little kids who would say stupid stuff but the majority of the community was decent. I made a lot of good friends back then. Too bad barely any of them play anymore.

    After all of Jagex's updated for little kids and their marketing towards teens and kids under 12 years old, the community's overall integerity has deminished over the years. Now it's just full of immature people who insult each other and get into the most stupidest fights ever.

• • Graphics Update...

  • Well, I just saw the new graphics on my friend's computer. At first glance they do seem amazing. In my opinion they are really good. However, the update isn't without it's problems. One of the major problems is the player's character. Their movements seems awkward and too showy. They seem to "bounce" around too much. I also don't like the way the changed around the look of some of the armour. For example the new look of helmets makes player's heads look way too big.

    There are also numerous grahical glitches, such as when doing an activity such as cooking or fishing, the character's butt sticks out through the cape. Also, I'm not a huge fan of how the "faces" look when wearing hoods. Mainly because they are faceless still. I do like the shinyness of the metal armor now and the flickering lights, shadows, and reflections of light. I also like the new sky and fog, but that could still use a little improvement in certain areas.

    I strongly dislike the way the made all the feathers red on the helmets. Now eveyone with a rune helmet has a zammy helmet. I'm not a huge fan of the shadowing on capes or the excessive movement of capes.

  • I cannot believe they want more money after their crud updates. They are getting greedy aren't they? GW is a way better deal than RS. I suppose they are asking for more money since they updated thir graphics. Well, I certainly won't be giving them any more money just so that I can keep playing while the game gets worse and worse.

    To the guy/chick who said RS>GS.   Are you freakin high??? GS>>>>>RS.

    Seriously, how can  you say ruinedscape is better than guild wars. Last time i checked there weren't any mass riots or protests made by players on gw due to any recent updates. Not to mention, its not like 100,000 people didn't just suddenly quit playing GW.

  • Youth voting is a good thing because then you get a larger range of people voting. I agree most youth probably don't know the issues but then again not many youth go out and actually vote. They say they do but then they don't. It's not only youth that don't what they are voting for but I know many older people who don't know who they are voting for either.

    Besides, I know some youth who know a lot more about the issues than many people over 40. Although they are few of them. I don't see why youth should be excluded from voting just because they don't know what they are voting for. It's their right to vote. It wouldn;t make much of a difference anyways since very few youth actually do vote.

Summoning was basically the same thing. Just a diversion so that players would not focus on the way Jages completely screwed up.

    From what I have seen and heard, Summoning was a poor excuse of a skill. It was obvious they rushed it just to distract players from the real problems. I have a feeling these new graphics will also be rushed and not up to the same quality of other games.

    The fact that it's on a browser is no excuse for poor graphics and rushed low-quality updates. There are plenty of other games on a browser that have considerably better graphics.
