By this logic you should donate any money you currently pay to MMO developers to charity. There is no way to argue that you -need- to play computer games. So that ~$15 is not something that you 'need'.

Then again, you earned the ~$15 right? What you do with it is no one's business unless you're breaking the law in it's use. If you feel compelled to give it to a charity, great! But if you decide to turn it into $1's and throw it at strippers it's no one's right to say word one.

Frankly Blizzard could provide rolls in the stalls of their office bathrooms made from this $6mil judgment for people to wipe their asses with and I wouldn't care less.

If this were true, I would be in the bathroom all day if I worked for Blizzard! "It's like wiping your ass with ... sil... err... money!"

For some reason he felt  he had to have one of every single item in the game.

      Gotta catch'em all!

Hah I know how that was in SWG! I was an Architect back in the day. Aside from keeping all of my found items and such to decorate my houses, I was using about 30 "slots" from friends/family for my heavy harvestors, plus different shops on various planets for the minerals I gathered. My fiancee had about that too for the oil and such she was collecting for tailoring! We were absolutely addicted!

In response to them making money ... there is one particular way you could do it. In game advertisements is a f2p way to go, and doesn't seem too obtrusive inside the game world. I guess we shall find out soon, I hope!

I'm not sure I'd want to see a party of orcs heading towards me with 'Drink Coca Cola' banners waving in the wind. Would probably ruin my immersion somewhat.

Very true. Although, what if the sign said 'Coca Cola shall set your free!'?

Mainly what I was talking about are just advertisements in cities and such like that. Out of the way, but you still see them, even if you don't pay attention. Maybe inside an inn you see a sign that says, 'Furnished by Bob's Furniture', or something like that. It may take away from the immersion a bit, but definitely not when you are out in the wilderness seeing those orcs for example.

Meh, not really sure if this could work, but I think if you could advertise without taking away from the world, then it is doable.

      Grtz.

I am talking of WOTLK:)) guys.

A small change in plans :))

You know the one with the siege engine, the complete open world PvP(even on pve servers) with destructable keeps, AIR combat, manned TANK combats, and enhanced graphics.

and BY FAR the best animated fast PvP actions ANY MMORPG could deliver in these last years.

O and please stop kidding yourselves, an expansion wont turn carebear magic ride into a pvp game.

                                    -beaverz

of course Wow changes all the time.

Even the animations as shown in the video.

Or are you going to say that the elements of world Pvp will not be in WotLK? :)))

What I CAN say is that at the moment WAR will NOT have air combats, sea combat, underwater worlds and manned tank combats.

Let alone the frantic fast fighting.

Good I'd say: let the best game win.

Really for me ... this video shows me what PvP is all about in WoW -> Who has the better jumping skills?
