If they are able to recreate this kind of feeling while adding the mmo aspect to it, the possibilities are almost endless, and from bioware's past track record i think they got what it takes to make a ground breaking and mabye one of the best mmo's yet.

It definetly wont be a question between wow like or precu, i highly doubt they are gonna tread along the lines of what's already out there, They are gonna try and give us something that hasnt been seen before.

I personally have really high hopes for this mmo, and there is a very good chance i wont be disappointed.

As for swg, it will most likely die once this comes out, half the people playing only play because they love starwars so much, but if they see a newer and better game come out they will most likely switch in a heart beat.

Why can't they make this game with all the fan favorite elements of WOW combined with all the best Sandbox elements of a Pre-CU SWG game?

      Why can't they do that?

Sure it didn't have the freedom of EQ but atleast the 40 man raids were well done and the gear you got from the really hard dungeons made you somewhat elite.

Nothing was cooler than helping a friend with his level 60 alt in scholomance with my full dreadnaught Warrior gear epic head to toe with my thunderfury (legendary Item 1-3% of the tanks on each server had one).

peaople would freak the fuck out when I walked into an instance, made me feel good for doing that content.

Thats what WoW was about for me, feeling like a freaking rockstar cause of high end raid Items.

When I got High warlord with my hunter it was the same thing I stood out, you could see I put more time and effort into the game.

Once TBC released they took that away from me, My new T5/T6 gear ment shit since everyone and their mom walked around in gear the same as mine by only doing 2v2 arena. I'm sorry once BLizzard made WoW so damn easy where you couldn't see who actually put real effort into thier toon, they ruined the game.

This casual Newb approach to gaming has trickled to newer games and its sick.

"ROCKSTAR" is a Full-Temp Jedi take out 5 Bounty Hunters at the same time and then /walk away.
