so all the issues brought up by the council are going to be PVP oriented which makes the game worse not better.
just go read the forums on STAR TREK ONLINE they are from maby EX-EVE non-pvpers that want a game that they can play in peace and not harassed by other players while mining or exploring.
as for walking around stations id rather have them spending their energy fixing the broken systems in the game like the courier system and that grind of a misson system.
I wanted to try moon mining or gas mining but those are only accessable by PVP corps or at unreasonable risk
LOW SEC is POISON
Could you define PvE a bit more, because everything that involves trading in EVE can be counted as PvP (maybe with less fighting). Also in the interview it was said that they want to work on the industry.
Originally posted by CujoSWAoAI don't get why people seem to think that WoW invented online gaming... the whole Starcraft & Warcraft world were heavily influenced by the older and more mature Warhammer & Warhammer 40k. The way they build their MMORPG is influenced by Ultima & Everquest. Ok, they just made it to combine a bunch of good concepts, but thats it!
Yeah, glad they're polishing up World of Warcraft 2.
(Notice I am not using "stolen" or "copied".)
I will not give any weighted statement, I just want to try to explain the rise of such "vs." threads.
1.) Many people just don't have time to play to MMORPGs, so they want to know which of them would be the better investment for their money and time.
2.) Many MMORPGs NEEDS large populations to fully function (for example WAR's RvR), so if people find out that most people avoid such a game, they think that playing it wouldn't make that much fun as they could with enough players.
3.) People like to be fanboish!
I hope that helped clear up what was possible already well known.
Thx of you read it!
