    It's the radial menu.  Press tilde (~) to bring it up with the default UI

    With the original UI, you could double click on any object and get the radial menu (which is IMHO a pretty nifty, functional thing) to come up if it were available.  Then the NGE came along and trashed the entire UI  because a shitty, frustrating, different to the existing customers UI is "star warsy" and "iconic", I guess.

    You can restore click to bring up the radial functionality by modifying the UI to bring up the radial menu with whatever mouse click/keystroke you care to.  It takes 15 minutes to a half hour to restore the UI through keymapping to something resembling the original, functional, elegant UI before the NGE vandals trashed it.

    As another example of SOE's abject stupidity and gross insulting of the playerbase, the shitty NGE UI is referred to as the "classic UI" by SOE.  This alone should be grounds for gathering the lot of them and having them tossed into the sarlacc pit.

     

    And with all of that said, you still pay them monthly ?

  • I wanted to look at some objects I have stored in there from long ago. I go to the bank and all I can do is transfer credits... where is my inventory ?!?

    My rare and preciouse pre-nerf items? from pre up-grade and pre-nge days?

    my double sliced T21? my pre-nerf FWG5?

    my assortment of rancor bile enhanced mind poisons?

    etc....

    HELP HELP please...

  • Hi.

    I am testing it now and comparing it to when I first played the NGE.

    It looks alot like they just added some fluffy useless stuff to make it pretty but in my opinion its still quite borked.

    I wish they just fixed the original game, and not : "combat upgrade" and not the "new game experience".

    A) they would not have lost 99% of their player base.

    B) they would have made a good game truly great.

    /shrug

  • I have been playing the free trial of Vanguard, granted I am stuck on the newbie island but I hear from others that the rest of the world is just as good but with fewer people. FEWER PEOPLE I SAY ?!?

    Its actualy much like the way I thought Everquest 2 should have been made a few years back.

    I hear people complain its slow, it crashes, its full of bugs.... I have not had one crash and my average system runs just fine, a bit laggy but I blame my DSL for that.

    Its almost barren. Ive created charactors on all 3 servers and I run into so few people.... granted im stuck on newbie island.

    Why is this game not popular? Why are people not playing?
