I have. Just the usual SOE weblinks and partnership advertising at the bottom of the page. In the posted screenshot, for example, it would seem the advert has even overwritten the ESRB rating which I'm pretty sure they are required to show. But thats by the by - people following the link can see for themselves, as you say, the veracity of the 'screenshot'.
It was real. The advertisement banner is run by cgm.adbureau.net, not Sony. SO anyone who pays could conceivably get an ad to show up at the bottom of the Vanguard page; even Dick Cheney. :p
Hahahaha, looks like they pulled the ad.
Or maybe it's just blocked for me. AoC makes baby Jesus cry.
BTW, I'm giving Vanguard a second shot at the moment and having HUGE graphical issues with the game. Some of the same problems I had over a year and a half ago at the end of Beta. Are there any serious UI/graphic fixes out there? As it stands, I'd almost rather chew ground glass than play Vanguard because of the problems but I want to try and muddle through so I can give the game a legitimate review.

Tsukie, your sarcasm makes me smile. I love you.

And you know what, WAR probably won't be any different. In fact, it won't be any different. It doesn't take a genius to see that from all of the current videos and press.
Back to EVE.
I think the difference with WAR is that many of us (including me) are willing to give it a shot and will stick with it regardless of how rough the launch might be because it's being produced by Mythic, who has already proven to us that they listen to their community, fix bugs, and try to improve their games for the better.
I can't say the same for Funcom (or Sony). Which is really a shame.

It contains some pretty good information and gives you an idea of how things are currently. Note that this was done right before the latest update in which the anti-hitching code was introduced (and the Vanguard community rejoiced).

Thanks!
To get the hijacked topic back on course; what would you say is the best solo class these days?
