| Biography | I live in Texas (the only state flag allowed to fly at the same height as the US flag), namely Houston. I work for an Oil company; both of my vehicles are V8s and get less than 20mpg each (I see it as supporting my industry). I fish, hunt (I target animals with big sad eyes)and support every penny going into our military. I am not only an American... I''m a Texan. |

I would characterize this as a lower to medium end card.
How do you think it would run Vanguard on a core 2 quad q6600 with 4 gigs of ram?
The 9500, much like the 8500 and 7500 is >>>NOT<<< a gammer card, it is primarily used for dual screening or buisness applications.
For insance an 8600 will run circles around a 9500 and a 8800 will be MUCH better. with you system do not skimp out on the card. Get you a good 8800 GTS (512) or even a ATI 4850 for the same price.
Hey guys i posted this on the AoC forums and figured i would check here as well to see if anyone had any idea about this issue.
Crashing: Need help
AHHH, i was wondering what those "culture" pvp servers were for. This the type of PvP i like!
I have a very similair set up except i have 2 8800 640s. I am running a VERY smooth 50-90fps. Here is some issues you could have.
1. Your ram is "value ram" and the latency suxxors. you could either get 2 extra gigs of it or get a GOOD musy or XMS 2 gigs.
2. AMD FX runs hot as a bugger make sure that baby is cool.
3. get a second vid card for some smoother performance. SLI will take a good load off your CPU and in some cases your Ram.
4. Update your drivers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Which console would you like to see MMOs released for?
