Thanks a lot, that has completely cleared up this issue. ![]()
Hey Guys/Gals,
I was wondering if anyone could provide me with a definitive answer with proof whether the Open Beta client will be useable (via upgrades) at retail. I have a download limit on my line of 10 gb's and Im loathe to burn up all the limit (plus a little over) on a client which will be useless in 5-7 days.
Ive been trying to find some evidence regarding this from Mythic but havent come across any, and my friends have conflicting views on whether you will be able to update the client or not come release.
So therefore I'm asking you guys for an answer which will hopefully clear this problem up.
Regards,
Ross
well that answers the early access query, however you would still think the standard edition codes would go out prior to the actual day of entry :)
I would except I like having a box and manual to covet like a jackdaw :)

just a warning about play.com
When AoC was due for realise I pre-ordered the game about 1 month before launch. I gone though all the process and sent my cc off and all of that. One week before release (really happy to be getting my war rino) and they said all the keys will be coming soon. 2 days before the launch they rejected the order, 'your order has been unsuccessful at this time please try again.'
What a joke! they say they can deliever and dont. I went onto my pre-launch guild website for a rant (as you do) and found out a number of other people had the very same from Play.com
Basically I wont use them again...ever...not for pre-order (because they lie) and not for normal orders either as I dont do bussiness with companies i dont trust and have little trust for me.
Never had issues with Play.com before, in fact I find them quite good concerning price and delivery times. Obviously no-one is perfect and others have suffered by their hand but speaking from a personal stand point I'll keep using them until they cork something up! ![]()
In your opinion, what kind of gamer are you?
