    • F*** you Gamestop
    • Damn that seriously sucks a dick...  I never order online from gamestop.  I did preorder by walking in the store, got my box with codes and card deck that ill never use and went home and set my account up.

But we have a good gamestop here where i live so im lucky. Besides im pretty well rounded with gaming so they can't sell me the bullshit most non gamer newbies get..

Amazon.com, half.com, buy.com are good places to do online ordering.. Direct 2 drive is ok but most games have issues with their versions and mod compatability, so i avoid them. I like to have a box in my hands that i can install and uninstall when ever i feel like it with out all the hoops.

      WAR (Warhammer Online)
    • lol warhammer pvp sux
    • Nah hes trying to start a verbal joust using AOC's  fatality kills.  Hes trying to point out that WAR doesnt use this feature in game.  He thinks Warhammer is nothing special since it doesnt do anything spectacular that hasnt been done before.

Ill bite for a sec... Warhammer doesnt have hallways for maps... it has wide spaces. There arnt spawn pads located through out the map, cause Mythic isnt as stupid as failcom, and knows thats not how you do pvp.

There isnt a point system to see who takes or keeps a keep like there is in AOC, instead you fight a global war for cities and keeps in WAR.

Try that in AOC, bet you havent, why its because its too buggy and laggy to get  more then 20v20 on screen...

Cause AOC felt that super graphics would make people play the game more then something reasonable that can run their end game. ( yea i got 65 fps on maxed settings in AOC cause i built my machine others arent so lucky)

Warhammer isnt built around the xbox 360... hence the spawning pads and the attack controls and small maps with invisable walls...

Sure AOC has fatalities, and they are sweet as fuck, there is no better feeling then getting jumped by a higher lvl player while your lvling and sending his melon rolling down a hill.

But  After you get over the new car shine of fatalities, what else does AOC have... nothing its a snore in a paper sack. Boring

Dont like what i have to say? Tough shit it is what it is deal with it. now gtfo You have no rebuttle.

      Night Night...

But my concern has always been how shallow the game is: There is only one path to follow and a single character can do all the content, and even run out of content after level 35.  Unless you count grinding mobs content.  Now-a-days I consider missions and storylines to be content.  By all means, check out the free trial while it lasts, but you might end up looking elsewhere for a longer-term MMORPG commitment.

I also need to comment on the TR developers, Destination Games.  I was in the closed beta for over 4 months, played for a month at release, and checked the game out on a trial a little over a month ago.  After all that, I was never impressed with the devs.  Their communication with the players has always been rare and usually only when they are hyping some future idea for the game--which the vast majority of the time either never materialize or are very poorly implemented.  Honestly, I think the TR developers are out of their league and not up to the challenge that faces them in todays competitive MMOG market.  To that end, I don't think TR will ever amount to much more than it is now:  An ultra-casual, limited content game.

I agree with alot of this passage. Ive just quit again, i too resubbed. I lasted two weeks...

Surer alot of the game has changed for the better,  performance, icon graphics, a few new items.

Games still missing the end game.. Its still end game at lvl 30 for me... Game still feels like its missing something, i figured out what it is this last time resubbing.

This epic struggle for survival is missing, the bane are  scripted and drop in on a timer, then they just rush thats it. boring. With the game as it is, man kind doesnt need to worry at all about the "evil bane".

Yes tr is missing the war...

SO.... i preordered  Warhammer online so i could get my WAR on ...
