I installed it directly from the the new SOE patcher and I think it took about 14 hours total. Pretty impressive since about 6 months ago it took around 30 hours or so.. I just installed EQ2 a couple days ago and that only took about 10 hours total. Glad to see sony has boosted their patcher speeds.
For me it was the constant disconnects and Funcom placing blame on us the end users for issues we were having. I will probably be back once they can get the connection issues resolved but that wont be until Funcom realizes their game has bugs and who knows how long that is....
If you liked Flyff you might try Holic or Scions of Fate. http://www.netgame.com/ runs both of them along with a few other games. Other then that Shaiya or Cabal are pretty enjoyble games if you are looking for a more standard asian style grinding mmo.
Welcome aboard...
Wow, in 2 days you have made more posts then I have in the 5 years I have been a member...
If mortal holds up to its promise then it will definately be a great game. Unfortunatley living up to their promise is where most games fail. Aion looks really great and I know I will play it because Ia m a sucker for asian MMO's (having played L2 the last 4 years off and on) and hope it can succeed where L2 didnt. While I love warhammer tabletop, I am a little unsure about the mmo. I can get past the WoW graphics as long as it has good gameplay and being a warhammer/warhammer40k junkie I sure hope it does. It really wont matter which of those 3 is the best though once warhammer 40k online comes out, because thats where my heart is when it comes to the whole genre of fantasy/sci-fi games. Hopefully it will be a great game, but with THQ behind it, I have no doubt that it will be anything less then superb.
Aside from questing, what do you spend most of your time doing in-game?
