• • Population of FFXI

  •    The rumor is 500k total players on FFXI. Though I am starting to believe that  a good chunk of those are dual boxed accounts. Then you figure its 32 servers big. SO really it does feel very emptied.

      Most servers have around 1300-2900 on at one time. Now remember that there is 1 main content and 3 expansion contents where players are all spread out.

  •   Right now 38-40  = 19 people on, 6 are doing CoP, 6 are doing a Bcnm. 3 are smn and Bst and their in a 3 man pt.. So all thats left is me a pup and scholar. ><

     

      Id transfer in a heart beat bt I am pretty high in the chain of command for my shell. So I dont wanna leave them just to exp my 4th job.

  •   Registry editing is what tweaks the game ot look allot beter then the normal config that comes with FFXI. Or you can download windower and set the mipmap to 6 and it will vastly improve your visuals.

  •   I wouldn't come back if I was you. The game seems like it  is dead. Well on my server that is. Seriously 4 days seeking a party at different primetimes to only see 7 people in a 4 lvl gap is just wrong. Well thats just meat lvl 39 as a war.

      Prices are down gear wise.  Items used to craft seem to be overflooded on the market. An allot of gear hasnt sold on the A.h in a long while.

      Downtime has been tweaked some what with signet, and sanction, exp ring helps a little, but only if you find a party.

      Nm's seem to be rare/exe itemed now, So no more leaping boots or emporer pin drops. those are BCNM'ed now.

  •   WOTG was suppose to see us go from 8.1 to dirext X 9.0c. Let me remind you that this was a Nov launch.

     

      Problem is Ps2 hinders everything related to the game. Not to mention this game is old and outdated. S.E isnt' ging to send the cash to upgrade anything.
